May 2019 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

Time for a look at everything I picked up this month - I really love these Monthly Haul posts - they give me a way to share everything I pick up each month as I don't always post about everything I get!

For 2019, I put myself on stricter $100 a month budget , not because I need to; it's actually more to test myself and be more conscious about what I purchase. I also really want to make sure that I'm enjoying and using everything on my collection!

(Let's note before we get in to it, I spent more than I intended on spending; and dipped in to June's budget early - I will save it for next month though) But, I'm happy with the purchases, but I would like to be a little more responsible for next month!

May 2019 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

Iceland Blue Lagoon Mask ~ $50.00 CAN. So, this product was a total extra splurge and I knew that I was allowing myself to purchase this outside of my budget as I love a good mask splurge. I had a friend travelling to Iceland and going to the Blue Lagoon and offered to bring me back a mask! So, this is really cool and I'm very excited to try this out!

May 2019 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

Sephora Sale Haul ~ $93.66 CAN. This was my VIB sale haul and I picked up a couple of Sephora masks, a mini Natasha Denona nude palette, the Nails Inc Kiss My Peach polish set, a mini brush cleanser, a Too Faced new Crystal Whips shimmer shadow, the Morphe sponge - I'm very excited to try everything! Plus, I got a little Glamglow sample!

Sephora Points Order ~ $0.00 CAN. I thought I'd pick up a couple of points items when they popped up that I liked! The Sephora Collection brush roll was 750 points and is really lovely. It's great quality and I don't have a good travel pack for my brushes so I really need this and have already used this for travel. The Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray was 100 points and the Drunk Elephant set for 250 points and I'm looking forward to trying both of these!

May 2019 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

The Body Shop Mask Haul ~ $29.12 CAN. It's no secret that I'm a sheet mask addict, so I was excited to see these newer sheet masks from The Body Shop! They had a buy 2, get 1 free sale so I picked up a few masks and I will try them out soon (I also gave 1 of my free ones away!)

May 2019 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

Butt Mask ~ $11.55 CAN. Oh yes, a butt masks - sounds amazing right?! If you want my full thoughts on this Bawdy Beauty Butt mask, you can check out my full thoughts on this mask here! I picked this up from Urban Outfitters and there is usually shipping included, but I did have a paypal credit that covered my shipping costs.

May 2019 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

Muff Masque ~ $35.74 CAN. This was a little bit of a crazy purchase for me; but, all last month I featured all masks for anywhere but the face and I had so much trying all these different types of body masks. If you're interested in my thoughts (and totally G rated post), I have already reviewed it and you can check it out here! I did have to pay for shipping from the U.S. for this and that's part of the cost!

May 2019 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

Facebook Find ~ $5.00 CAN. I picked up a Lit Glitter in Champagne Wishes from a facebook auction and this is so beautiful! I love Lit Cosmetics and I'm excited to add this in to my collection!

May 2019 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

When Boob Mask ~ $17.03 CAN. Yes, another mask for my body that's a little crazy and out there! I picked this up from Lucky Vitamin and did have to pay for shipping, so that was factored in this price. This is a biocellulose mask and I really liked it! You can see my full thoughts on this mask here

May 2019 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

Amazon Nail Art Polishes ~ $21.21 CAN. I've gone on for too long without a black and white nail art polish in my collection, so I finally picked myself up the ORLY nail art polishes!

I should also take this time and mention for full transparency that I ordered myself a year of FabFitFun subscription boxes as well; but, I'm not counting it in my beauty budget (even though I get beauty products) because I'm missing subscriptions and it is a lifestyle subscription!

So, for May I spent $263.31 - now I know, that's a fair bit over my $100 budget; but, I will say that I'm happy that this wasn't all on makeup and stuff I can't keep up with - I am constantly using masks in my collection and nail polishes will always be loved and used in my collection! So sorta whoopsie; but, again, I'm still being a little conscious about my purchases and all I can do is keep thinking about my purchases!
