Viseart Petite Pro 5 Soleil Palette - Swatches, Makeup Look, and Review

What better way to embrace the beautiful warm weather we've been having lately than with a bright, fun eyeshadow palette?!

I have tried a couple of the Viseart Petit Pro palettes before and I really loved the 2 that I tried (which was 1 and 2). I've skipped on 3 and 4 as they weren't really colour combos that I needed to have; but, I couldn't resist number 5 - Soleil!

The shades in here just screamed Spring and Summer and I like the idea of the red, pink, yellow, orange and purple combo!

I've been pretty vocal on here that I love small, mini palettes because I have so many palettes that I'm never going to use a palette up; but, I also love a small amount of shades together to help me see good colour combos!

I've also been really impressed with the Viseart eyeshadow formula; but, it's on the pricey side for large palette, so I love these little Petit Pro palettes and will continue to pick up the minis that inspire me!

Viseart Petite Pro 5 Soleil Palette ~ $40.00 CAN. An eyeshadow palette with an artist’s dream combination of matte and shimmer shades.

This palette has a combination of mattes, shimmers and a duo-chrome shadow and the shadows reminded me of a sunset, which makes sense since Soleil means Sun! I've always loved the "sunset" shades, so it's no surprise that this palette called to me and I think the shimmers are all stunning in this!

I also love that they went with a yellow package and I really wish that all of these Petit Pro palettes came in different colours! They released the Petit Pro 4 and 5 at the same time, so 4 is in a peach package and 5 is this yellow; but, 1 through 3 are black so I wish they had just colour-coded them all!

Pastile ~ light, warm-toned taupe
Taffy ~ iced cherry blossom
Watermelon ~ medium-toned red
Pastis ~ medium, warm-toned citron
Bonbon ~ iced violet-blue duochrome
Lavender ~ byzantine purple
Marmalade ~ terracotta
Soleil ~ yellow gold

All of the shimmers are super soft and swatch so well and applied really nicely to the eyes. The mattes were buildable and blendable, which is always how I like them - I always prefer my mattes to apply a little lighter so I can build them up to the right depth, plus they are a little more workable!

My only critique is that while Taffy and Watermelon look different in their pans, they are rather similar in application, so a different finish would have been a little better in my opinion!

The eye look I created uses Pastille all over as a base shadow, then I applied Pastis all through the crease for a deep yellow crease. Then I applied Watermelon in the outer corner, Taffy all over the lid, and Soleil on the very inner lid and inner corner. The lower lash line is Lavender with Bon Bon over top.

I added a fun light purple lip - the Hard Candy Plumpling Serum Lipgloss in Flower Child! I'm so loving how this combination turned out! I love the purple and orange and yellow together - I think they work really nicely together!

Overall, the Viseart Petit Pro 5 was a big hit for me! This palette was easy to use and work with - I love the shadows in here and the quality of them is fantastic. I also actually really like that the shadows can just pop out if needed and are interchangeable with the other Petit Pro shadows if you want to mix and match or make your own combo for travelling! I'm loving the sunset vibes this gives and is just perfect for Spring and Summer (or any season you want!)

  2. I love the look you created, it’s a very wearable but still colourful eye in my opinion! A lot softer than I would expect these shadows to appear by looking at them in the pan.
