Skincare Sunday - Revamped Vichy Aqualia Thermal Rehydrating Serum and Water Gel

Happy Skincare Sunday! It's no secret I'm a big fan of Vichy skincare products, so I am always excited to try out new products from the brand!

Vichy recently revamped and relaunched their Aqualia Thermal line! Vichy worked on improving the ingredients for more natural ingredients, better hydration, and safer products for your skin.

The Aqualia Thermal line is now formulated why 97% natural ingredients and contains no silicone, parabens, or mineral oil. The lines features ingredients such as vichy mineralizing thermal water, hyaluronic acid and plant mannose for targeting dehydrated skin. The whole line is all about hydrating, plumping and refreshing the skin.

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Rehydrating Serum ~ $42.95 CAN. Aqualia Thermal skincare serum recharges dry & dehydrated skin with intense hydration, using 97% naturally-derived ingredients, including Hyaluronic Acid, fortifying Vichy mineralizing water, and plant sugar mannose. Skin is instantly dewy-fresh, feels comfortable, stays hydrated for up to 48 hours and are as reinforced even under climate variations, stress, or pollution.

This is a hydrating serum meant for all skin types and is safe for sensitive skin. I have combo skin that is a little dehydrated; but, with an oily t-zone too, so a super hydrating formula can make me a little nervous in a product!

On that note, I really like this formula and it was hydrating on my skin without adding any extra oiliness. It pumps out just a little bit which works for the full face and neck, it applies nicely and absorbs quickly in to the skin. It doesn't leave any greasy feeling on the skin and just has a nice, comfortable finish on the face! It was great for my skin type because it wasn't heavy on the skin and just leaves skin looking and feeling healthy.

The Aqualia Thermal line consists of 3 moisturizers: the Rich Cream for very dry to dry skin, the Light Cream for normal to combination skin, and the Water Gel for combination to oily skin. I went with the water gel as I just thought it would be the best for my skin!

I love the lightweight formula of this water gel and it is just super gentle on the skin. This formula was amazingly light but moisturizing over the Summer, I thought it wore really well. My skin never looked or felt greasy and it absorbed really quickly in to the skin. It was refreshing and hydrating and a well-balanced formula. Not too heavy, not too light, just right on my skin! I really like this moisturizer!

  2. I love this line so much. I loved it before and love it more now. I love the idea of the gel in the summer, because any real lotion just sweats right off of me but this just absorbed right in.

  3. I have the light cream and I think the gel cream would have been a better choice since we have similar skin types! I really enjoyed the serum as well and I agree that these are some really great products!
