Manicure Monday - Scratch x NinaNailedIt Summer Nights Nail Wraps with Gold Accents!

Happy Manicure Monday! Always fun to get the week started with a look at new nails - I know i'm not the only one that looks forward to seeing everyone's Mani Monday!  

Our #CBBxManiMonday group is expanding, so now I am teaming up with Jayne from Cosmetic Proof, Trysh from Prairie Beauty Love, and Eithne of Tea & Nail Polish to bring you our own take on a theme we choose every week!


This week's nail theme was "gold accents" and I used nail wraps and gold accent stickers to get this week's mani! 

The products I used for this week's Mani:
-Sinful Colors in "You Just Wait"
-Scratch x NinaNailedIt wraps in "Summer Nights" (from the June Monthly Mani Kit) 
-Bundle Monster x NinaNailedIt Gold Nail Stickers 
-Gold striping tape or stickers

When I'm doing my nails whether I do a more abstract look or a very distinct nail art design, I usually have a plan; but, with this week's nails I really didn't have a plan and just wanted it to be really unplanned. I'm not actually sure whether or not I love the results! But, I do really love these Summer Nights wraps with the birds and stars on them. 

But, I started with Sinful Colors polish in "You Just Wait" as a base on 2 accent nails - pictured is this polish with 2 coats and I was really hoping for the purple-pink finish in the bottle on my nails and sadly, I just didn't get it! 

Then I applied the Sratch nail wraps to all my fingers - on the nails that I used the base polish, I just cut the wrap in half and applied one half to each nail to allow the base polish to show! Then I just used the striping stickers and gold star and moon stickers and placed them around the birds on the wraps!

I do think the Summer Nights wraps are pretty and I love the gold stickers I used; but, I really wish the base polish was truer to color!
