Happy first week of July! Yesterday, July 1 was Canada Day and I love seeing all the love for our fabulous country!
I decided to make my whole hand look like a Canadian Flag for the occasion - cute and really simple!
This week again, I am teaming up with Jayne from Cosmetic Proof and Trysh from Prairie Beauty Love - we always pick a theme together and put our own spin on it! This week our theme was Red & White/Canada Day!
For this mani, all you need is a red polish, a white polish, and a maple leaf sticker! Mine are from What's Up Nails and if you are interested in these (plan ahead for next year), follow that link and there are a few blogs with coupon codes to get a whole set of them totally free! (Also, both polishes I used are discontinued or limited edition so I won't specify them, just any polishes will do!)
To get the Canada Flag pattern, here are the steps I followed:
1. Nail cleanser and base coat
2. 2 coats of red polish on the thumb and pinkie finger
3. 2 coats of white polish on the ring, middle and pointer finger
4. let dry well, then apply a maple leaf sticker to the middle finger
5. finish with top coat
Ta da! Easy flag nails for Canada Day! Hope you all enjoy the long weekend celebrating the holiday!
Happy Canada Day - do you have festive nails for the occasion too? Again, make sure you check out Cosmetic Proof and Prairie Beauty Love - I can't wait to see what they come up with for our Red and White theme!
