Manicure Monday - Morgan Taylor's Royal Temptations Spring 2018 Collection!

I'm so excited to get in to this Manicure Monday! I have a look at the whole Spring 2018 Morgan Taylor Nail Lacquer "Royal Temptations" collection - six polishes and one special effect glitter polish! 

This collection is fit for a queen and is inspired by the lavish life of Marie Antoinette! It includes opulent candy hued greens, pinks, and purples! I love that they are pastel shades fit for Spring; but, they aren't muted shades at all! So, I say - let them eat cake... and wear beautiful nail polish shades while they're at it! 

This collection is stunning! I'm going to be honest and say that while Sophie Coppola's Marie Antoinette movie has been out for 12 years, I still watch it! It's such a visually stunning movie with gorgeous colours and an amazing setting - this collection reminds me very much of the movie! I read the book that came out at the same time and I think a luxurious French lifestyle of the late 1770's is a great inspiration! (And, yes I know the French Revolution was close to follow this time; but, it's just nail polish everyone - it's more about the colours of Versailles and the clothing and accessories that inspired this collection!)

Curls & Pearls ~ pale pink creme

This polish is the perfect neutral - just a hint of pink in it! This took 3 coats to be fully opaque. 

Beauty Marks The Spot ~ coral creme 

I love this light coral shade - this screams Spring time! So gorgeous! This also took 3 thin coats of polish to be fully opaque. 

All My Heart Desires ~ hot pink creme

This shade is everything - my absolute perfect pink polish! So bold and stunning! This was opaque in 2 coats. 

All The Queen's Bling  ~ purple pearl 

This shade really surprised me - it is a gorgeous lavender shade with the slightest amount of shimmer in it! So pretty - again, this is so perfect for Spring! This took 3 coats to be fully opaque. 

Ruffle Those Feathers ~ teal creme 

Is there a better shade for a Spring collection than a perfect teal?! This is beautiful and was opaque with 2 coats! 

My Other Wig Is A Tiara ~ sea foam metallic 

This is a lovely metallic polish - really different than anything I have in my collection and perfect for Spring and Summer! This was 3 coats to be full opaque. 

Over-The-Top Pop ~ multi-glitter special effect 

How cute is this glitter?! It's got a bunch of different little pieces - hearts, stars, circles, bows, and different size glitter flecks! So pretty! In both pictures alone and over All My Heart Desires is 2 coats of the glitter! 

I love this Spring collection - all the shades are stunning! They are Spring pastels; but, not boring - metallics, shimmers and a big impact! I will be wearing these a lot!
