March 2018 - Monthly Favorites!

Here are 5 things I have been loving in March:

Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Night Pads Extreme ~ $14.95 US. A more potent version of our bestselling glycolic fix pads, these extreme night pads contain our highest level of glycolic acid at 5% and have been further enhanced with the addition of salicylic acid, making these your ultimate night treatment to refine pores, brighten the complexion and de-congest the skin through the improvement of the skin’s natural exfoliation process.

I have noticed a really great improvement to the overall look and texture of my skin since incorporating Glycolic Acid in to my routine. I love these pads - I actually think that these are amazing at night time. I do find that with the Salicylic Acid and Lactic Acid in them that I only need to use these once or twice a week to maintain clear skin! If you want a more detailed review - you can check out my full review here!

Lush Cherryish Shower Scrub ~ $12.95 CAN. If it's irresistibly soft skin you cherish, scrub up with this decadent chocolate-cherry treat. Fair trade organic cocoa butter and murumuru butter meet for the creamiest, most softening base, while ground cherry stones and sea salt gently scrub away dryness. Vegan white chocolate, cocoa absolute and dried cherries create a crave-worthy scent that'll last all night. Oh my!

Ugh, yes another amazing scrub/moisturizer from Lush. Last year I fell head over heels for the Scrubee; but, this one is great too because it's quite different than Scrubee, so I can have both of them on the go and use them for different reasons! This one has bigger scrub bits in it so it will give you a stronger exfoliant than Scrubee. I find Scrubee more of a moisturizing bar with less scrub and this is an exfoliating bar with less moisturizer if that makes any sense! It leaves my skin feeling super soft and smooth and I don't need to follow up with a lotion out of the shower if I don't have the time! Plus, the smell of chocolate cherries is awesome! (Side note: this was released as their Valentine's Day collection and was supposed to be limited edition; but, they ended up making it a permanent product!)

Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in "Fig" ~ $6.29 CAN. Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer nourish, moisturize and soothe your lips with natural ingredients like vitamin E and coconut and sunflower oils. It's time to pucker up with shimmery colour.

How have I not talked about this lip balm before?! I know lip balms aren't the most exciting product so that's probably why I don't talk about them much; but, this one has the most perfect tint and a little shine that I basically throw it on every day and it looks like I have a really subtle lipstick on which is perfect for when I'm running around. I will likely put this on every morning when I go back to work too. I put these in the same category as the Fresh Sugar balms; but, I prefer the shade of this one just a little bit more!

Dior Diorshow Mascara ~ $36.00 CAN. A bestselling mascara, now with a conditioning formula that’s enriched with microfibers for a lash extension effect.

This is one of those mascaras that you almost hope not to love because of the price tag; but, damn this is a good mascara! It fanned out my lashes beautifully and gave me both volume and definition to the lashes! I did a full post where you can see before, 1 coat and 3 coats of the mascara on me if you are interested in seeing how it performs - you can see the full post here! This quickly became a go-to!

Wayne Goss Brush 23 Spoolie Brush ~ $12.00 US. This upscale take on the classic spoolie blends brow products and applies mascara perfectly & Wayne Goss Brush 21 Eyebrow Brush ~ $28.00 US. Define and enhance your most beautiful brows with this handcrafted brush.

I received these in a brow set in my Beautylish Lucky Bag earlier this year and was excited to try Wayne Goss brushes - I know brow products aren't the most exciting so it took me a bit to try them; but, these are amazing! The brush is a lot bigger than past brow brushes I have used so I wasn't sure if I was going to like it; but, it is amazing! I use a brow mousse with it and it applies really evenly and naturally, then I follow up with a translucent powder and the spoolie and my brows look great and last all day! Love this combo so much!
