Gummiband Hair Cords - Review + A Special Offer!

So, I'm really late to the game trying hair cords - just about everyone I know was using them and raving about them; but, I was still using regular elastics forever. I think mainly, I have fine and thin hair so I didn't think something thick and plastic would actually work well in my case - but, Gummiband hair cords say they work for all hair types so I was happy to try them out!

The Gummiband hair cords are hypoallergenic - they don't absorb water or sweat so they don't get all gross and bacteria-y! They are gentle on hair so can reduce styling damage (who else despises a pony-tail bump?!) and they reduce breakage as well. They are useable for years - if they start to stretch, just warm them up with a hair dryer or hot water and it goes right back down; plus, Gummibands come with a one-year warranty!

Gummiband Hair Cords - Review + A Special Offer!

Gummibands come in packs of 4 and retail for $7.99 CAN - plus they offer free shipping across Canada (yay!!!) Gummibands come in 8 colours - black, brunette, blonde, clear, light pink, dark pink, teal and purple! You can order packs of 4 of individual colours or build your own Unicorn pack as well! Above, I'm using the black in my dark brown hair and it blends in really nicely! But, I also use all the colours and love them as well!

I was surprised that with my fine and thin hair, these were really good. This bun I have pictured above is pretty much my at home go-to! I can use these with ponytails, but I do find that the more these wrap around the hair, they will start to pull just a little when coming out - nothing compared to a regular elastic; but, just my experience. I know that these are amazing on thick hair - you can even double up with them too for extra hold (or to mix a couple of colours in there!)

These hair cords have totally replaced regular hair elastics for me which, always pull and rip my hair. But also, regular elastics broke all the time. Again, because my hair is so thin, I would have to wrap a hair elastic around my hair about 4-5 times and they always stretched and broke quickly on me. These Gummiband hair cords also over a lot more hold for my buns and I'm not constantly re-doing my hair because it's falling out!

First, they are Canadian brand and they offer free shipping all across Canada (yay - we know shipping here is expensive!) They are also a 100% women owned and operated company. I'm always happy to support some awesome Canadian women owned companies that produce awesome products!
