Manicure Tuesday - Mini Rainbow Accent Nails!

Happy Manicure Tuesday! Each month the Canadian Beauty Bloggers group comes up with a theme - this gives us fun ideas for posts/makeup looks/nail looks etc! For June, our theme is Rainbows and I decided to do a bright nail look right away - so perfect for Spring!

Manicure Tuesday - Mini Rainbow Accent Nails!

I love how these turned out - they are bright and bold, but still pastel and not too crazy!

Here is a look at the products I used for this week's Mani:

I used Formula X nail cleanser and base coat (as usual, this is my go to for all manis!) Then I used a light blue base polish - Sally Hansen "Breezy Blue" (this polish was quite sheer and took 3 coats to fully cover my nails!) Then use a red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple polish (I left out indigo in my rainbow) - either use a nail art polish in each if you have it, or a skinny nail art brush with regular polish. I freehanded the rainbow - just start with an arc about halfway up your nail with the red polish and work your way down doing 1 thin line with each colour. I let it dry and finished up with the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat (this has also turned in to my go to!)

Yay for rainbows - these are actually one of my favorite Spring nail looks I have done!
