Manicure Tuesday - Pressed Flower Manicure!

Happy Manicure Tuesday everyone - this week has been beautiful outside and it really had me feeling Spring! So, I wanted some beautiful floral Spring nails!

Manicure Tuesday - Pressed Flower Manicure!

How fun are these pressed flowers?! Also, I don't usually wear yellow on my nails  I love how these turned out - they are nice and bright and perfect for this time of the year!

Here is a look at the products I used for this week's Mani:

-Formula X nail cleanser and base coat
-Sally Hansen Miracle Gel top coat
-Color Club polish in "poetic hues" (beige)
-ORLY BB Creme Makeup for nails (I do not have clear nail polish, so you should use that if you have it!)
-Pressed Flowers (I am using Silk Line flowers - easily found online or at a craft store)
-tweezers
-Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear nails in Mellow Yellow

Here are the steps I followed for the nails with flowers:
Start with nail cleanser and base coat. Paint 2 quick coats of beige polish (or a base color of your choice!) Before the polish dries, use the tweezers and pick up the flowers and place them on the nail and press them in to place. I used the BB Creme, but you should use clear nail polish, and paint over top of flowers (I have heard top coat can wreck the flowers so I don't recommend using that). Press the flowers down in to place).

The nails without flowers are quick:
Start with nail cleanser and base coat. Paint 2 coats of a complimentary nail color (I used this yellow as it's perfect for Spring). Let dry and finish with top coat!

I'm really happy with how these turned out! Have you guys tried pressed flowers before? They are really trendy right now and pretty easy to do! (We will see if they last very long though!)
