Colourpop Hello Kitty Collection - Review, Swatches and a Makeup Look!

I was so excited when ColourPop announced that they would be releasing a Hello Kitty Collection on November 1 for Hello Kitty's 50th birthday!!! 

I thought there was some really amazing looking pieces and colours in the Hello Kitty collection and they offered a big selection of all products - lippie stix, ultra satin lips, blush, highlighter, ultra glossy lips, ultra metallic lips, eye shadows, and even a makeup bag! 

First, I picked up a couple Lippie Stix - in Let's Play and Konichiwa! 

ColourPop "Let's Play" Lippie Stix ~ $5.00. Brilliant cranberry lightly dusted with hot pink pearls.

This lippie stix has a satin finish, but it also has a beautiful shimmery finish! This colour is absolutely gorgeous - I have nothing like this!! 

ColourPop "Konnichiwa" Lippie Stix ~ $5.00. A bright dusty rose.

This is a shade I would always go for - and Konnichiwa has a soft creme finish! 

I love the ColourPop lippie stix are some of my favorite lipsticks - they have a long lasting finish without being drying and they all have great finishes! 

I also picked up a lovely eyeshadow quad called "Mama's Apple Pie"!

Rainbow: Glitter sheer finish white with highlights of silver and pink glitter

Friendship File: Metallic finish warm peachy beige dusted with silver and pink glitter

Small Gift: Pearlized finish mid-tone peachy pink

School Bus: Pearlized finish deep navy blue

I love these shadows and thought I would create an eyeshadow look with the colours in Mama's Apple Pie:

I used the shade Rainbow under the brow and in the inner corner, Small Gift in the crease, Friendship File on the lid, and I used School Bus as a liner as well as blended lightly under the bottom lashes! 

I really love all the shades - but Friendship File and Small Gift are gorgeous!! 

Here is the eye look, complimented by Konnichiwa:

I actually love the creme finish of Konnichiwa and it is something I can see myself wearing often! Here is a close up look of Konnichiwa:

This shade reminds me of a "your lips, but better" colour and has a nice finish. It doesn't smudge and lats for quite a while! 

I also used the same eyeshadow look with the Let's Play lippie stix:

Gosh, this shade is so lovely - it is a beautiful finish with just a hint of shimmer! This is something that I don't normally go for, but this is so perfect especially for Christmas coming up!

Such a great finish on this lippie - it is very unique!
