Wine + Mask Wednesday (Sperling Pinot Noir + Leaders Mediu Amino Acid AC-Free Mask)

Time for another Wine and Mask Wednesday - this week's theme is "Red".

Here is a look at my Mask of the Week:
Leaders Mediu Amino Acid AC-Free Mask

Leaders Mediu Amino AC-Free Mask ~ $2.33 (set of 10 for $23.31). Enriched with amino acids, aspartic acid, AHA and snail secretion filtrate, this acne-free mask works on oily or sensitive skin to soothe skin and combat acne. Apply to cleansed and toned face for 15-20 minutes and pat in remaining essence.

I don't usually use masks made for oily skin, but this is also made for sensitive skin and I needed an acne focused mask - I have not been great on using masks a ton this month and my skin is letting me know it was unhappy!

This mask is straightforward to use: cleanse skin, tone face, apply mask and wear for 20-30 minutes, remove and pat remaining essence in to skin, complete skincare routine.

This mask fit surprisingly well for only having 2 notches on it and I liked the material of the mask - it was super soft and full of essence! I was worried that this may make my skin dry because it was made for oily skin, but not at all! It made my skin feel really great! I was very happy with this and it lasted for almost 45 minutes before running out of essence.

Now, to pair with this red mask, here is my red Wine of the Week:
Sperling Pinot Noir

Sperling Pinot Noir ~ $26.00. Hand harvested in mid-October from our Dijon clones; carefully sorted and co-fermented in small lots. After gentle pressing this inaugural wine was aged in large format barrels for 12.5 months before hand bottling.

Sperling Vineyard is located in Kelowna, B.C. and was one of the spots on my Bachelorette party last year. I really loved this Winery and highly recommend it if in the area - I actually purchased quite a few wines from this winery as I was very happy with this!

I was happy this wine - it was a beautiful rich red! It was light and tasty and delicious! I thought it paired great with dinner and was easy sipping while on the couch wearing my mask! While this was really good, at $26 per bottle I will likely keep it for every once in a while!
