Five on Friday - February 26, 2016

Can you believe this is the last week of February already? I hate to say it again, but this month has just flown by! My week has been good - pretty quiet and back to the normal routine around here!

ONE

I gave in and made myself a Facebook page for See The World in PINK! It's a little weird expanding beyond my normal social medias for the blog and it is still a work in progress, but I would if you came and showed my page some love!

TWO

Mmmm... Delicious Recipe of the Week!!! These Falafels from Gimme Some Oven and her Tzatziki recipe were both quite easy to make and soooo good! We doubled the batch so there was tons of recipes and you know it's good when your "must-have-meat-at-every-meal" husband asks you to make a vegetarian recipe more often! So good!

THREE
This weekend is the Alberta Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge - basically where some coworkers and I get together to jump in to a freezing lake to raise money and awareness for a good cause!

FOUR

Have you guys seen these new trends that came out of New York Fashion Week? Chroming and Furry Nails (sources of photos linked in article). Trends just keep getting weirder and weirder! Chroming is strobing/highlighting but with a metallic-finish lipstick instead of highlighter! I just find that weird - that's exactly what highlighters are  designed to do! And furry nails! WTF?! These are werewolf nails - but I keep thinking how dirty they would get and what about when you wash them? Although, they might be fun for a Halloween costume! Anyways - I'm not on board with the new trends from NYFW this year, what are your thoughts?

FIVE
Have you guys worked with JustFab before? I know I have featured them once on this blog but I don't order from there too often. This month was such a mess with them, I refuse to ever order from there again! I logged in on the 1st of the month and didn't want to order anything, so I clicked on "skip this month" and didn't think of it anymore until the next week when I checked my credit card and noticed that I had been charged! Ugh, I emailed them 3 asking for them to fix the mistaken charge and they completely ignored me, so I filed a dispute with my credit card and won my money back. With JustFab you have to call and cancel and they have the pushiest customer service ever so it wasn't a pleasant conversation. When I explained why I was cancelling, the guy on the phone actually starting arguing with about it, long story short I pretty much had to yell at the guy to stop trying to convince me to stay and cancel. I felt bad but I was not pleased with the service and them telling me I was wrong - I hope your dealings with them are better but I will say never again will I order from JustFab!

I hope everyone has a great weekend - wish me warm weather for the Polar Plunge!
