Lushoween Goodies and Mall Haul!

I went to the mall while my husband was getting his surgery done, to do a little shopping!! I wanted to start getting some Christmas presents and I needed to stop by Lush to get their Halloween goodies!!

Here is a look at the goodies I picked up:

Lush Bat Heebie Jeebie ~ $17.95. When darkness falls across the land, a midnight shower is close at hand! Take these two eerie sudsers into the bathroom for a seriously spooky wash and emerge smelling truly irresistible.

How cute is this little bat?! It came with:

Nightwing Shower Jelly ~ $6.95. A fang-tastically fruity jelly to put the bite back into bathtime. When the dark night rises, seek the fruity candy-scented salvation of this aloe vera and lime juice jelly and cover yourself in a sweet, carrageenan lather. For an extra stimulating hit, use it fresh from the fridge or freezer. A hint of vitamin E-rich carob syrup delivers extra nourishment to the body and adds to that deliciously fruity perfume.

This is sooo cute, but a little too wiggly to get out of the container - it is a jelly in the shape of a bat!!! And it smells so good!!

Lord of Misrule Shower Cream ~ 60 ml for $5.97. A feast for the senses! Get down and earthy with this mischievous, herbal blend of patchouli, peppercorn and black pepper with an intriguing fair trade vanilla sweetness. As you rub this addictive lather all over the body, organic wheatgerm oil provides a nourishing dose of vitamin E to ensure your skin is in fine (and fragrant) party form. You won't be the fool after washing with this.

This smells really good - it's so different, with sweet and peppery!

In addition to my Halloween goodies, I grabbed a few other things in the mall!

Mask of Magnaminty Face and Body Mask ~ 125g for $14.95. Mask of Magnaminty isn’t technically a daily ‘facial wash’; it’s actually a deep cleansing face and back mask. China clay and fresh peppermint reach deep down to pull the debris from your pores, giving you that delightful tingly-clean sensation. We add loads of aduki beans to exfoliate flaky or dry skin, vanilla absolute to calm redness and honey to soothe. Our inventors created Mask of Magnaminty to be the ‘ultimate face mask’, intense but not harsh or abrasive on the skin. We recommend using Mask of Magnaminty weekly to keep the skin in good condition.

This smells sooooo good! I have heard really great things about this mask and have yet to try it!

Snow Fairy Shower Gel ~ 100 ml for $9.95. Oh how we've missed lathering up in those fluffy pink bubbles! We crave Snow Fairy's bubblegum and sweet vanilla fragrance all year, and just can't imagine the holidays without her. Our famous fairy contains a smattering of biodegradable shimmering luster (or as we like to call it, Fairy Dust), so she won't harm the earth one little bit! Sparkly, pink and candy scented - what more could we ask for?!

Like I really need more shower gel! But this smells so incredibly good, it's crazy! I'm hoping it will double as a great bubble bath too... I will get more of this before the season is over (this is technically a Christmas item!)

Don’t Rain On My Parade Shower Gel ~ sample. Blast the rain clouds away with freshly squeezed blueberry juice, Fairtrade vanilla pod and violet leaf infusions, stirred into one parade-stopping gel. Make your showers show-stopping every time with this star-quality infused gel, which will leave your skin perfumed with the sweet smell of success (and violets). We just can't get enough.

I love when Lush gives out samples! This smells good!

Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub ~ sample. Rub Rub Rub is a bit of a variation on the normal shower gel. For one, it’s so thick we put it into a tub for handy scooping in the shower. Secondly, it’s a bright blue, supremely softening, exfoliating sea salt shower scrub to revive your skin. Sea salt is extra cleansing, mineral-rich and softening for the body; you can even use it as a shampoo in a pinch! Our rubby scrub is startlingly refreshing, with a dash of lemon juice and the tropical scent of mimosa blossoms for a light, blossom-scented wash and smoother skin.

Oh, I love scrubs! I'm looking forward to this!

After lunch, I moved on to Shopper's because they had a great deal on Bioderma! Buy $30 worth of Bioderma products and get a free 250 ml Bioderma Sensibio H20 (worth $20!) Bioderma was also on sale so it was a great deal!

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Makeup Removing Micelle Solution ~ on sale 500 ml for$21.49. A cleansing and make-up removing water that respects the fragility of sensitive skin.

I bought the big size because it was such a great deal!!! And I got the 250 ml for free!! This is such a great stock up!

Bioderma Sensibio Makeup Removing Wipes ~ on sale 25 wipes for $11.89. Dermatological wipes dedicated to sensitive skin - comfort and softness.

I haven't tried these yet, and I like wipes for when I'm feeling a little lazy for my full routine!

After Shopper's, I stopped by The Face Shop because I had a $5 off of $30 purchase coupon to use up!

Lovel Me:ex Waterful Grapefruit Mask ~ $12. A sleeping mask pack with fresh juicy grapefruit to moisturize, revitalize and hydrate tired dry skin.

I actually didn't know this was a sleeping mask until I had to type in the description! I really just bought it because it was cute and was a mask! I have a thousand sleeping masks currently, but I will use this!

Mango Seed Moisturizing Mask Sheet ~ $4. The Mango Seed Face Mask leaves skin soft and supple in a couple of minutes, thanks to the rich serum it contains. Enriched with mango seed butter, it provides skin with intense hydration and leaves a protective barrier on the epidermis. Ideal for dry to very dry skin.

I have been using the Mango Seed serum and it is sooo good! I think I am going to like this mask!

Chia Seed Moisturizing Mask Sheet ~ $4. Get soft and supple skin with this Chia Seed Face Mask. Enriched with Chia seed extract, it hydrates and nourishes your skin instantly. It contains a gel-type serum enriched with chia seed extract to deeply moisturize skin.

I have not tried the Chia Seed line yet but I am excited to try this mask too!

Green Tea Real Nature Hydro Gel Mask ~ $7. This natural brightening gel mask gives the skin a transparent radiant look thanks to its compund of catechin-rich green tea leaves and melanin-controlling niacinamide.

These masks are fairly new to the Face Shop and I love hydrogel masks so this sounds awesome!

Spot Clear Intensive Patch ~ $2 for 10 patches. A spot clear patch containing Tea Tree extract that actively works on the problem area.

I have been very happy with other brands of spot treatment so am happy to give these a go!

Raspberry Roots Collagen Eye Patch ~ $5. Get younger-looking eyes with these patches that firm and tone the eye contour area. Enriched with raspberry root and collagen extract, they are perfectly suitable for sensitive skin of the eye contour area.

I love eye patches so I am happy to try these out!

So, I know I said I was on a no-buy this month but I thought it deserved a veto while I was waiting around so, whoops! I guess I'm not great at no-buys!

  1. Snow Fairy sounds like it smells amazing. And that monkey mask is SO cute! Plus it's grapefruit so I'm sure it will smell great too!

I've yet to try micelle water (I just purchased some but Sephora's brand) and I've heard such great things about it!

    1. seriously, snow fair is a must (but I guess you have to like sweet scents!) I'd love to hear how the Sephora brand Micelle water is - this is the only brand I have tried so far and it is amazing!
