Skincare Sunday Product Review - Dal Tokki Facial Scrub

For this Skincare Sunday, I thought I would do another product review! Here goes:

Dal Tokki Facial Scrub ~ around $25 - this scary bunny/human is hilarious!

Here is a closer look at the scrub:

I originally received this product in the Empress's Secrets Memebox and have had so many different exfoliants, I almost forgot to use this one! This is actually my first time trying this product! Memebox described this scrub as:
This facial scrub is made from the Korean glutinous rice cake - known to be rich in various vitamins and nutrients - and it works to smooth out and clarify the skin by exfoliating dead skin cells and dry, flaky patches. It's sticky, cheesy formula is not only fun to play with but also rejuvenating and nourishing to the skin. The natural rice cake grains gently exfoliate without any stimulation and and is suitable for all skin types and ages.

The ingredients are listed on the website as:
Water, rice flour, sodium laureth sulfate, glycerin, cocamidopropyl polyimide M. yieyi, propylene glycol, acrylate copolymers, polysorbate 20, glycol stearate, titanium dioxide, caprylic rilgeul glycol, glyceryl acrylate rilka ruffle , glyceryl Leela right rate, oregano leaf extract, eucalyptus leaf oil, perilla oil, licorice extract, green tea extract, rosemary leaf extract, Centella asiatica extract, chamomile flower extract, extract gold, No. muscle extract, ethanol, Butylene Glycol, 1,2 hexanediol, octanediol, Trojan polron, triethanolamine, sodium chloride, to hit the hydroxy cellulose, disodium this dithiol this, phenoxyethanol, fragrance

Here are the steps I followed to use this product:
1. Wash face
2. Apply product to damp face
**use a spatula or spoon to apply this to your face - this product cannot get water in it or the rice will spoil**

I didn't take great care with the application as I will be rubbing it in right away - here is a close up of the product:

3. Use fingers are massage scrub in to skin for 30 seconds to 1 minute

I may have used a touch too much - here is a close up of the product once it has been massaged in:

4. Rinse off with water
5. Complete skincare routine

I really liked how gentle this scrub was - I have sensitive skin and find some to be too harsh on my skin. This was not - it went on smooth and exfoliated nicely. I like the smell of the product as well (although, it does have an added fragrance to it which some people do not like!). My only complaint was that the product was hard to rinse off (I also used a little too much which may have made it harder!), and as I rinsed it off, a little bit of the product got in my eyes and it stung! I may have to take greater care with removing this product next time. Overall, I really enjoyed this and my skin looked good after - I will certainly keep using this product!
