Meme #41 "Jackpot Box" - Review and Unboxing

Memebox is a Korean Beauty Box company. Memebox is not a monthly subscription box - they instead have a ton you can choose from ranging in price from $15 and up. The boxes have different themes and their are limited quantities (from what it looks they, they are very popular and the boxes sell out quickly!) The boxes come with 4-8 full size and deluxe sample size items & they usually show you 1 spoiler from the box and the rest are all surprises! Shipping to Canada is $6.99. (shipping does take any where from 10-20 business days).

Last month they released a Special Edition "Jackpot" Box. The box costs $32 + $6.99 shipping, but you are guaranteed to receive at least $155 worth of products. The winner will receive a box worth $1000.

I decided to jump on this (I'm not usually a risk-taker, but it seemed like a good deal regardless).

I was really excited when I received 2 boxes full of goodies!! (There was not product card so I had to look at all the items and compare to the website and figure out what box i got!

Turns out I got the 4th place box with $289 worth of items!

Woohoo!

I am excited by how much stuff was in here! Here is a closer look at the items I received:
Tosowoong Timeshift Skintoner AP Therapy ~ $34. It sounds like American toners and Korean toners are slightly different - while ours act as a last cleansing layer, this one is for added moister. This toner is "enriched with nutrition-rich fermented extracts, galactomyces ferments, snail mucus extracts, bifida ferments, and various plant oils. It works to soothe and deeply moisturize the skin by creating a protective layer on top.". I think some people might be weirded out by the snail mucus but I'm not one of them - so I will try it out!

Evas Vitamin Sun Cream SPF 38 PA++ ~ $11. Said to over sun protecting, wrinkle care and skin brightening all in one. I do always think it is hard to find a good face sunscreen so hopefully this is it! I have not tried it yet - I have to wait for some sun! (And weird I could not find this online anywhere, but it does look like it came in a previous memebox).

Kang Skin Aqua Essence ~ $72. This bases it's formula on hyaluronic acid which is known for it's moisturizing and soothing properties. Sounds like you just apply to dry skin and pat in.

Luna Wonder Essential BB Founde SPF 25 PA++ ~ sample size 15 ml for $9.93 (full size is 40 ml for $26.49). I received #21 Nudey Beige which I assume will be a good match for my skin - I am finishing up a couple of other BB creams before I try this one!

IOPE Lip & Cheek 01 Rose Pink ~ $43. I have just received to lip & cheek tints recently (although neither are this texture) and am still debating if I will keep this or gift it (that's why I haven't swatched it yet!)

Amini Vitamin Shower Body Soap Bar ~ $10. Gentle replenishing formula with rosehips, lavender and peppermint oils. This will get used (eventually!).

Cotterand JJOYY Bubble Peeling Pad ~ $7 each. "This is an exfoliating pad enriched with natural AHA components, various plant extracts, and fermented extracts which work to easily yet very effectively remove dead skin cells and excess sebum off your face. This Bubble Peeling Pad was made so that you could experience the same peeling effects at home as you would with expensive treatments at dermatology."

Davi Skin - Le Grand Cru Cream ~ sample size 7 ml for $21.50 (full size is 60 ml for $185). Holy moly - this cream is crazy expensive, it better work miracles for that price! "Ultra Luxury Cream. The DAVI exclusive Phyto-Meritage™ micro-encapsulated formula with active nutrient rich ingredients has the power to transform the skin.  In a short time, firmness improves, lines and wrinkles become less visible, skin looks virtually ageless.  Even the driest complexions are renewed and rejuvenated.  With the Phyto-Meritage™ blend your skin is immersed in moisture, sensitivities soothed and radiance restored." I'm not going to lie - I love me some expensive face creams and the more I get in these boxes - the less I have to buy! (It also recommends to warm this product with your fingers prior to application.

IOPE Essential Facial Oil ~ $90. Helps even out skin and adds a protective layer. This product is quite big and using only 2 or 3 drops at a time, this will last forever!

Ramosu Carestory Collagen Ampoule 200 ~ $36. I would never know how use collagen on my face? "Carestory 100% Pure Collagen Ampoule is made from fish scales without collagen’s unique smell, other than animal collagen that provides poor skin absorption due to its higher melting point than body temperature. As it has minimum-sized molecules, it provides superior skin absorption and leaves the skin soft, supple and elastic. RAMOSU contains the message of skin happiness for all those who desire to keep their own skin baby soft or get even more beautiful skin, using commonly-used familiar and mild skin-friendly ingredients that suit their skin types and gently acts on the skin." You just apply and pat it in - I'm not 100% sure if I will be using this - but it might be worth a shot!

Sharpelan Care Lily and Lilac Fabric Refresher ~ $4. This is a good scent and not overwhelming - I will use this!

Hair+ Velvet Nutri-Injection Phyto Protien Bond ~ $5. Apply to towel dry hair and rub through the end. This is worth a try - my hair only gets damaged when I heat dry it a lot (which I have been trying not to do!) so I will wait until I need it!

Sulloc Water+ ~ $6 for a pack of 3. Add to water - contains all the benefits of green tea and the antioxidants of 12 tomatoes (recommended to drink 3 a day!). I will try these but probably not repurchase (I am one of those weird people who like the normal taste of water!)

T.P.O. no-wash toner sheet ~ $14. Use for quick makeup touch ups, or removing makeup residue. No need to double wash or rinse after use.

So Memebox counts this box as $289 worth of products - I added it up to $363 worth of items! All I can say is holy moly! (And I was actually considering not getting this box - I am really glad I did!). There is a few things I am not sure of, but I will use most of these items!
