Five on Friday - November 8, 2019

ONE

Yesterday was my 33rd Birthday! I always love my birthday and used to take a whole week to celebrate my birthday! But, now it's a little more laidback - we ordered in from our favourite Indian food restaurant, had a nice glass of wine, and a delicious cheesecake from the Farmer's Market! Yum! 

TWO 

It's time for a look at my Noevember Monthly Makeup Basket! Each month I've been picking a few different face products to focus on for the month! I'm really trying to focus this year on using and enjoying my whole makeup collection! 

For November, the products I'm focusing on are:

• Besame Briar Rose Blush Palette ~ this is a beautiful palette from the new Sleeping Beauty collection (based on the shades Aurora and Maleficent worn in the original 1959 film) and you can see the palette on me here! This is really new in my collection and I'm looking forward to wearing it more! 
• Etude House Happy With Piglet Jelly Mousse Blusher in PK002 ~ this is the only cream blush I have in my collection and this packaging is too cute, isn't it?! You can see my original review on this blush here! And, this is a formula I'm still not super comfortable using, so I'm hoping to try it out this month!
• Rodeo Drive Highlighter by OFRA Cosmetics ~ this is such a stunning highlighter, and it made my Monthly Favourites in May 2017 and it's gorgeous, it's just been outshined in my collection over the last year or so, so I'm looking forward to using this more! 
• Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter in Moonstone ~ I'm really trying to get in to trying more liquid highlighters - Moonstone is a really pretty shade and I'm hoping to get lots of use of this highlighter this month (because I don't know if I've ever used it!) 
• Almay Make Them Jelly Hi-Lite in Unicorn Light ~ these Jelly formulas are super fun, and these Almay highlighters are a sparkly but still so fun to wear and I'm looking forward to getting more use out of this!  

Lot's of newer goodies this month looking to establish a solid spot in my collection! 

THREE 

Okay, this week I tried this Califia Pumpkin Spice Latte Cold Brew coffee with Almond beverage and this is delicious! I love Pumpkin Spice and I love Cold Brew coffee, so this was really yummy and it wasn't too sweet! 

FOUR 

Here's a look at most recent Palettes of week! I'm really enjoying the Wet n Wild Coffin Break, ColourPop Disney Designer Midnight Masquerade, and the Too Faced Hot Buttered Rum palettes - these are all lovely and I'm reviewing all three of these really soon! And, I also used the ColourPop Uh-Huh Honey palette - you can see swatches and a look with this palette here! 


FIVE 

This is just a quick update; but, I'm pretty proud that this week I paid off my student loans in full!!!! Holy, I never thought that I was going to be able to do it - I had about $30,000 from my Bachelor's Degree and they were really hard to pay off as a single mom for years so it feels really amazing to have that debt load off my back! Wooo hooooo!!!!
