Monthly Beauty and Book Haul ~ September 2024

Back in 2022, I set a monthly beauty and books budget at $200 per month and I've been pretty good about sticking to it! I am trying to be thoughtful in my purchases, so this has been holding me accountable for being reasonable with my spending. Since it worked so well last year, I'm really trying to do the same thing this year! 

I do always love my Monthly Haul posts - it's a good way to keep track of everything that I picked up each month. I don't always blog about everything I pick up (I try to), but if you ever spot anything in here that you really want me to talk about, let me know! 

Well Order ~ $95.80 CAN. I love Wet n Wild's big collections and used to order a ton of them - I've chilled out, but when I saw a whole Nightmare Before Christmas Collection, I could not resist picking up so many goodies to try! Can't wait to review these soooon!

I missed last week's manicure because I was in Victoria on vacation - first mani Monday I've missed in a long time! But, we are carrying on with the Spring theme for the month of May - I typically do florals for the month, and I love how bright and fun these turned out!

Shop My Stash - Wedding Guest Makeup That Lasts All Night And Day!

I was soo happy this year to get back in to attending weddings! So, I thought I'd shared my go-to Shop My Stash look for a wedding I attended - these products are all tried and true for a long wearing makeup look (and I got a ton of comments, so I think it turned out well!)

I'm switching up my Monthly Haul posts a little bit this year, because I'm actually *trying* to stick to a bit of a budget! I've been going a little crazy on the beauty and books front, so I just want to be a little more thoughtful in my purchases. So. Pumpkin Spice Palette ~ $12.45 CAN. I picked this up from Shopper's Drug Mart - it was originally $72.45, but I used $60 worth of my Optimum points so I got it for such a good price! I haven't picked up a Too Faced palette in a long time, but I did like this colour story and I'm enjoying the palette so far - a review is forth-coming!
