September 2019 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

Time for a look at everything I picked up this month - I really love these Monthly Haul posts - they give me a way to share everything I pick up each month as I don't always post about everything I get!

For 2019, I put myself on "stricter" $100 a month budget (I'm getting a little less strict as the year goes on unfortunately), not because I need to; it's actually to be more conscious about what I purchase. I also really want to make sure that I'm enjoying and using everything on my collection!

September 2019 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!
I purchased everything in this post

Besame order ~ $123.22 CAN. Okay, I could absolutely NOT resist this Besame and Sleeping Beauty collection! Besame doesn't just throw a Disney collection together, they actually work with the movie and colour matches everything perfectly to the movie! I haven't been this excited about a makeup collection in a while and I didn't even pick up the eyeshadow palette! I got the highlighter and blush palette, the translucent powder, and the Sleeping Beauty pink lipstick. Plus, Besame added a hand cream because orders were a little slow moving with the demand of this collection!

Maniology Mani x Me September subscription ~ $42.32 CAN. You can see a quick look at what was in this subscription here on a Five on Friday and this is a stamping subscription that I pick up once in a while when a box intrigues me! I absolutely loved the Hocus Pocus theme and the polishes and stamping plates are too cute!

September 2019 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

Maniology Haul ~ $85.01 CAN. Oh hello, apparently placing one order with stamping plates wasn't enough. I also had to throw in this huge order. So, the reason I placed this order was the first picture - this Happily Never After stamping set is all haunted Disney princess plates and the lovely purple polish is called Dearest Aurora and I couldn't resist. Then, the second picture was a mystery bundle of 20 items for $20 and I thought what the hell, I'm still trying to be a nail stamper so I will take more stuff! And, I got a good mix of plates, polishes and stickers!

Shoppers Drug Mart Haul ~ $7.37 CAN. My Shoppers hauls are always my favourite now because I always use my points so I never spend too much! I purchased this order for a couple of travel sized goodies for my upcoming trip - micellar water, cleanser (turned out way bigger than I thought) toner, and dry shampoo. Plus, I wanted to try the Physician's Formula foundation, bronzer and a backup of the cleansing balm! I really wanted to give the Buxom blush a try and the NYX tinted skin veil drew me in too! Also, a back up of the Vichy Mineral 89 serum and lash paradise mascara is a must. I wanted to try a new brand of pimple patches and the Clean and Clear mask looks fun and the 100% Acetone is for cleaning up after stamping! And, I added on a Wet n Wild primer and setting spray for my all drugstore beauty Shop My Stash look

Anthropologie Masks ~ $22.05 CAN. I couldn't resist this Hologram Foil mask and I've wanted to try some Patchology masks, so this is an eye mask set!

September 2019 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

The Face Shop Mask Haul ~ $47.25 CAN. I'll have you know, that as I'm doing this #100DaysofSheetMask challenge, when I put my 100 masks together I only had about 6 or 7 masks left over, so these past 2 months I've gone off the deep end of trying to restock my mask collection because I can't ever be near running out. Anyways, The Face Shop had a buy 10, get 10 for free sale and they included these new Dr. Belmeur masks, so I had to grab 20!

September 2019 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

Miniso Masks ~ $14.49 CAN. I love seeing new masks at Miniso, so I picked up a couple from JayJun and JMSolution - these look unique and can't wait to try them! I think I'm done hauling masks for the next little while!

September 2019 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

Four Mosa Year Long Subscription ~ $149.21 CAN. This is the September Monthly Mask Kit here and you can check out my whole unboxing here if you're interested. Personally, I was pretty excited about a mask subscription started in Calgary. They offer a discount on a longer subscription and are offering a free month on top of this for a 12 month subscription! (This works out to $3 a mask for the whole year and I'm happy with that!) Plus, you know I can't resist a subscription!

October Scratch Kit ~ $20.46 CAN. This is a cute little nail wrap subscription that comes with an exclusive designed nail wrap set with a little nail accent. These constellation wraps are so stunning! I always subscribe when I like the look of a month!

Well, holy Batman I spent $430.39 CAN - this is pretty significantly over my budget! But, let me try and justify my spending to myself here; if you notice it actually wasn't a lot on unnecessary makeup products! Right?! So, the point of this budget is for me to be more thoughtful about my spending and making sure I enjoy my products, both new and pre-existing in my collection. But, let's be real, I do not need to buy any more masks or nail stamping products for a long time!

  1. ALL THE SHEET MASKS! And yikes, way to go OVER your budget, hahaha! I'm the same though, I can't help myself sometimes. But, for October, I'm trying to only buy things I need to replace... we'll see how that goes.
