Five on Friday - September 27, 2019

Happy Friday everyone! It's the first week of Fall already! I hope you've all had a great week! I wish Calgary had a longer Fall, I mentioned this already; but, we get two days of Fall this week and then boom Winter! We went from +20 earlier this week to expecting -2 and snow all weekend!

ONE

We've been sick all week here; but, are slowly on the mend and good thing too - we are getting excited because we are leaving for Disneyland on Monday! Woo hoo I can't wait! I love Disneyland and am looking forward to the Star Wars Galaxy's Edge and the Halloween parties there! So, things will be a little quieter around here next week as I'm not bringing my computer, but will have some posts lined up while I'm away!

TWO

Everything in this post was purchased by me

I got my September 2019 Scratch Monthly Mani Kit and it is super cute! This is an easy, affordable subscription that features nail wraps from GoScrachIt that are exclusive to the kit each month and designed by NinaNailedIt! Nina designs the most gorgeous florals ever I cannot wait to use these wraps!

The Scratch Monthly Mani Kit is $10.00 US + $4.95 for international shipping! Each month you get an exclusive set of wraps that aren't available for purchase and a few extra little mani goodies!

This month's subscription came with:

  • Bouquet nail wraps
  • Gold accent stickers
I have to say, these nail wraps are easily my favourite nail wraps to use - I have tried quite a few wraps and nothing compares! You can see past reviews and nail looks on Scratch wraps here if you are interested! I can't wait to use these ones!

THREE

I'm not one to normally rush out and get all the new technology; but, with the new Samsung Galaxy S10 phone, I could not resist! It was time for an upgrade - I still have the S6 so it was time for something new!

The features on this phone totally sold me - huge screen, 128 G of storage (my last one was maxed out at 32 G), multi-lens camera, and a high quality front camera as well! I had to pick this up and it's lovely!

FOUR

Is this not the most stunning makeup collection ever?! I've never ordered from Besame before and I had to pick up some of the products in the Sleeping Beauty collection - they spent years perfecting all of the shades in this collection to match the 1959 movie exactly! I picked up and blush and highlighter palette, a translucent powder, and the Sleeping Beauty pink lipstick! This collection took a whole month from order date (and I ordered the within the first hour of launch!) But, I haven't been this excited for a makeup release in ages!

FIVE

Here is a quick look at my September declutter! I'm passing on the Revlon Mega Multiplier mascara - I only used this one and the formula wasn't bad; but, the shade was Plum Brown and it doesn't really work for me! Then, while this Laura Geller trio of highlighters is cute, the pigmentation just isn't the same as the full size swirl highlighter I have from them. Also, decluttering a Wet n Wild blush and highlighter because the shades just don't work for me. And, finally the Cake Dry Conditioner was bought accidentally instead of a dry shampoo, and I just won't use this!

I hope you all have a great weekend and week! See you soon - stay tuned for some Disney posts while I'm away!
