Manicure Monday - Fall Stamped Nails and Essie Gorge-ous Geodes

Happy First Day of Fall everyone! I love Fall (even though in Calgary we basically a couple of days of Fall!) - but I have already started burning my pumpkin candles and buying my Halloween goodies! 

Polishes purchased by me - all opinions are my own

We are sticking with the "colour combos" theme for September, so for the first day of Fall, I had to go with a Fall colours theme - oranges and reds with this AMAZING holographic base polish! 


I'm still really trying to be a nail stamper too, so you'll have to bear with me while I become good at it (I'm getting better; but, it's a slow process). These ended up looking a little busy, but the white and orange didn't look complete enough, so I added the red and while it busy, it certainly gives all the Fall feels! 

The products I used for this week's mani are:
-Essie in Gorge-ous Geodes 
-Cici & Sisi white stamping polish
-Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear polish in Hot Tamale
-Maniology Red Hot Nail Stamping Lacquer 
-Moyra Top Coat for Nail Stamping
-Maniology plate M033

As a base, I started with the Essie Gorge-ous Geodes polish (from the same name collection). This is a stunning metallic pink holographic polish! This is the polish with 2 coats - it is such a pretty shade that I have a feeling I will be using it often! 

So using the M033 plate (which is a pretty Fall leaves palette), I started with a white stamping base, then I applied an orange leaves design, and then finished off with a red Canadian maple leaf to top it off! As always with art and stamping, I finished the mani off with the Moyra top coat.
