I'm not going to lie, I'm happy to see February go - it has been a deep freeze in Calgary for the whole month. I'm really hoping March brings some warmer weather! But, before we send February off, here are the 5 things I was loving this month:
Gourmia Mini Fridge ~ $49.99 CAN. Tuck this handy mini fridge into any corner of your boat, cubicle, dorm room - or throw it in the backseat of your car! No matter where you find yourself, the lightweight Gourmia GMF600 Cooler and Warmer is effortless to take along for the ride.
A mini fridge must seem super random in here; but, I specifically bought this as a skincare mini fridge! It's place is in my bathroom and right now I have it holding sheet masks, mists eye gels, eye cream, serum and a night cream and I loooooove it. There is something about having a nice cool refreshing mist, eye cream, or sheet mask to use. It really has improved my skincare experience (and I really love my routine). I also place my face roller in here and use it cooled when rolling out a serum. It really is a lovely addition! The size is meant to hold 6 pop cans so it fits on my counter just fine with lots of space still!
Leaders 7 Wonders Mask - Himalayan Camellia Pore Minimizing Mask ~ $6.00 CAN. Camellia seed oil reduces the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles.
I've actually tried 2 of these Leaders 7 Wonders masks and really enjoyed them - they are probably the thinnest bio-cellulose masks that I have worn and were a dream to wear. They lasted 30 minutes and my skin looked super clear and smooth after wearing these! I found them at Anthropologie and will be picking more up soon! You can see a more detailed review here and here on the 2 masks I tried if you are interested!
ColourPop Jelly Much Shadow in Wide Awake ~ $8.00 US. Delivers intense pigmentation in a single swipe. Zero creasing, zero fallout. Can you handle this?
What is this small, unassuming pot of jelly goodness you wonder? It is my new favorite lid shadow formula! I just reviewed this ColourPop Jelly Much in wide Awake and I love it so much - it was so easy to apply and the pigmentation and wear time is amazing! It looks so pretty on the lid and is such a fun, unique formula! Totally worth checking out!
Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop ~ $23.00 US. The Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop is a serum to rejuvenate the skin. It contains concentrated pure vitamin C and key ingredients directly from nature. Its innovative multi-solution and non-irritating formula is to revitalize, maintain, and transform the skin.
Oh look, something else I just reviewed as well. I've actually been using this since December and I was initially really hesitant to use a vitamin c serum as I have used one other in the past and it made me break out! But, this one is really gentle, yet effective on the skin. The last 2 months I have really been watching it with my hormonal breakouts and it's really helped them disappearing before surfacing or surfacing but going away quickly. I did encounter a little issue using this with a glycolic acid; but, that was totally user error as I should have done my research not to use a strong acid at the same time. I am currently back to using this alone and my skin is looking great. This has become a staple in my nighttime routine!
Viseart Golden Hour Eyeshadow Palette ~ $72.00 CAN/$49.00 US. Viseart's proprietary creamy, long-lasting eye shadow formula is featured in an essential nine-pan palette with a full-size vanity mirror. Inspired by the unique twighlight colors and hues of Paris during the "Golden Hour," each easy-to-blend shade can be combined to create infinite looks.
I received this in my Beautylish Lucky Bag and was thrilled when I saw it - I love Viseart shadows and for some reason, I can really only convince myself to pick up the mini palettes as they are a little more affordable way to try the brand. So, it felt like such a treat to get a palette that I have been lusting after! This is a gorgeous palette and the shadows perform beautifully! They are pigmented; but, blendable and easy to work with. They look fantastic and are long wearing and the shade selection in here is lovely! I will share a review with looks soon of this palette; because, you need to see it in action!
What are you guys loving this month? I would love to hear your stand out product!
