April 2018 - Monthly Favorites!

Here is a look at the 5 things I have been loving this month:
April 2018 - Monthly Favorites!

Lush Twilight Body Spray ~ $29.95 CAN. When you want to feel really cozy, safe and at peace, spritz this heavenly blend of lavender and tonka all over. With the same scent as Twilight Bath Bomb and Sleepy Body Lotion, you can now wear this sweet, sleep-inducing perfume in layers. Don't be afraid to spray generously: skin-softening glycerin makes our body sprays gentle on your skin. Sleep soundly, sweetheart.

This is a recent purchase; but, it is absolutely amazing! I use this more so of a linen spray than a body spray - but I have used it as both for the same purpose. This is amazing for bedtime! I spray one mist of this on my bed or pajamas and then cozy in to bed! I have never had a problem falling asleep, but more so having a restful sleep is a bit of a problem - between the early teething mornings, baby monitor light in my face, hubby work shift work, the list goes on! But, this just really helps me relax and sleep really restfully. It smells nice and light - just like the Sleepy lotion, which I love!

Pixi Beauty Mattelast Liquid Lip in "Really Rose" ~ $20.00 CAN. Extremely longwearing & comfortable, infused with rosehip oil. Quickly sets to a matte veil while leaving lips hydrated.

I cannot rave about this lipstick formula enough! I did a full review on this lipstick - you can check out my full review, swatches and look here! This wears for hours without budging and the colour is amazing! This might be a bold statement; but, this may be my actual favorite liquid lipstick formula ever! I was initially skeptical about the $20 price at drugstore; but, it is worth every penny!

Natasha Denona Mini Sunset Eyeshadow Palette ~ $30.00 CAN/$25.00 US. This palette gives you the range to create a whole eye look with two shimmering metallics, two versatile mattes, and one sparkling foiled shade. Its compact size makes it perfect for travel. The warm, glowing collection of light to dark shades makes it an absolute must-have for every sunset lover.

Another product that is absolutely stunning! Natasha Denona shadows are normally very pricey and this mini palette is such a great way to try out the brand - the shadows are around the size of most normal eyeshadow palettes, so they aren't teeny tiny by any means! I did a full post with my review, swatches and an eye look if you want to see my full review - check it out here! There was some mixed reviews about this palette; but, I thought it applied and blended so nicely! The shades are perfect for Spring/Summer!

May Lindstrom - The Blue Cocoon Beauty Balm Concentrate ~ sample shown (full size is $240.00 CAN). This mindful product envelopes your skin in delicate and cooling tranquility, while simultaneously calming emotional anxiety. Its calming benefits are derived from blue tansy, a tall, flowering plant belonging to the Asteraceae family.  Another significant ingredient found in the Blue Cocoon is camellia oil, a powerful antioxidant, astringent and anti-inflammatory.  Camellia oil also helps to reduce the look of aging by protecting skin from free radical damage.

Okay, this product is incredibly pricey; but, it holy moly is it amazing! I read a review from Jayne at Cosmetic Proof and I literally went and looked for a sample the same night. Thank goodness for Clementine Fields for offering a sample of this product - it's a really decent sample size as well for $10. This balm is amazing!!! Seriously amazing!!! To start take a rice size amount in your fingers, rub it together, inhale the scent, and smooth the balm over your face. This works wonders - I got some serious hormonal and stress acne this month and this cleared it up and actually worked magic on my face. This product is certified organic, wild harvested, fair trade, raw and unrefined as well as being a general miracle worker!

Lush Seanik Shampoo Bar ~ $11.95 CAN. Soften tangled locks and add oceans of shine with this mineral-rich, volumizing shampoo bar. Seanik is made with ingredients from the sea: softening Irish moss seaweed and Japanese nori seaweed make hair soft as silk from root to tip, and sea salt gives body and volume to hair that tends to fall flat. We've also added lemon oil for extra shine, and a sensual blend of floral oils to perfume your hair subtly all day long.

I have been holding on to this product for longer than I would like to admit without trying it because I was super hesitant to try a shampoo bar - I just did not think that it would work well for me at all. This works so well! It lathers really nicely and cleans my hair so well. I actually managed to go 4 days in between washes without my hair looking passable with only a little bit of dry shampoo on day 3/4. Anyways - it does make my hair look so good, clean and volumized!
