Here is a look at my top 5 products I have been loving in May!
Guerlain Meteorites Highlighting Powder Pearls in 02 Clair ~ $77.00 CAN. An illuminating powder made up of light-diffusing pearls that minimize flaws and add brightness to the skin.
How have I not shared these on here before?! You can tell I'm getting low on these; but, I have had these for almost 4 years! I have loved these for a long time - I kind of go in and out of using these and this whole month, I have reached for no other finishing powders! This leaves the slightest glow to the skin and it just gives such a good finish! I know these are a little pricey; but, these last forever! I just dip in a big fluffy brush in this and sweep it over my face!
Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Eye Primer ~ deluxe sample featured (full size is $20.00 US). A lightweight and waterproof formula that locks in your eye makeup and prevents shadow creasing.
I have been holding on to this sample for a while - I'm sure I got it in a past subscription box, and I saw someone use it in a best of Amazon beauty video and it made me want to try it too! This is actually a really great shadow primer - it makes shadow last all day and look amazing! It wears so well - I am super impressed!
Omorovicza Midnight Radiance Mask ~ deluxe sample featured (full size is $155.00 CAN). A salicylic acid overnight gel-mask to brighten and smooth the complexion.
Holy moly has this worked well on my skin! This is an overnight mask to use 2 or 3 times a week and my skin has just not broken out lately, my redness has really evened out and my skin really looks brighter! Sooo good! And really, you just need a tiny bit when you use it!
Lush Eau Roma Water ~ $10.95 for 100 ml. In a world of technology-loaded cosmetics, choosing a toner with just two active ingredients may seem unusual. But when those two ingredients work perfectly to calm, soothe, moisturize and balance skin, why use anything else? Rose water cools irritations and keeps redness at bay, while lavender helps to balance out the skin's oils, leaving it feeling soft and supple. Eau Roma is simple, effective skincare at its best!
My skin really loves rose - I just think it works so well to balance and calm my skin. I just spritz this on after cleansing; but, you can also use it with a cotton pad. This is just a really gentle, every day toner and my skin loves this!
Wet n Wild Rose in the Air Color Icon Eyeshadow 10 Pan Palette ~ $6.99 CAN/4.99 US. Powerfully pigmented, buttery-soft, glides on like a dream. That’s what we dreamed up with our reformulated Color Icon eyeshadows. Our reformulated Color Icon hues come in a mix of coveted colors, from shimmery daytime hues to sultry shades for cocktail hours—including new matte transitional shades for impeccable blending.
I know I'm late to the game on this palette; but, I could not find it forever near me! I am super impressed with Wet n Wild shadows - I rarely ever use a drugstore shadow palette; but, this has totally opened my eyes! You can see my full post with swatches, review and an eye look here!
Let me know what you have been loving this month!

I haven't tried any of these products, but I've used other WW eyeshadow palettes before (I have a 5 pan with purple shades that I love!). My go-to eyeshadow primer is Benefit Stay Don't Stray. Since it works great on me I'm not tempted to try other ones because, well, it works, lol! Also, I'm going back on my no-buy (I've been a bit too loosy-goosy with spending lately).
ReplyDeleteI am soooo bad a no-buys! I'm always impressed when people can stick to them!
