I'm back with another Best of 2018 post - I just shared my favorite makeup discoveries of 2018 yesterday! Staying on the same track as yesterday, these will be my favorite products that I have tried in 2018, so not all of them were released this year, it's just the best of what I've tried!
I will be honest and say that I didn't discover a ton of new skincare products this year and it's because my skin has been changing over the past year post-baby and not returning to birth control pills. My skin has moved from very dry to combination and I'm still settling in to the best products for me - here's to hoping that 2019 brings some solid skincare loves!

November 2018 - Empties and Month in Masks!
Time to look at my beauty garbage!
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask ~ mini size shown here (full size is $24.00 CAN). A leave-on lip mask that soothes and moisturizes for smoother, more supple lips overnight.
When I got this at first, I wasn't sure what the hype was about - it just worked like a lip balm overnight. Wrong - I tried to use a normal lip balm overnight again like I used to, and when I woke up half way through the night, I noticed how dry my lips were. This lip mask actually hydrates the lips all night and they are soft in the morning - plus, it just feels like a soft lip balm formula when it applies! I think the full size has a spatula with it, and that is my only complaint with the mini - I hate dipping my finger in a pot. It made my favorites in June of this year!
Repurchase: Yes

April 2018 - Monthly Favorites!
Here is a look at the 5 things I have been loving this month:
Lush Twilight Body Spray ~ $29.95 CAN. When you want to feel really cozy, safe and at peace, spritz this heavenly blend of lavender and tonka all over. With the same scent as Twilight Bath Bomb and Sleepy Body Lotion, you can now wear this sweet, sleep-inducing perfume in layers. Don't be afraid to spray generously: skin-softening glycerin makes our body sprays gentle on your skin. Sleep soundly, sweetheart.
This is a recent purchase; but, it is absolutely amazing! I use this more so of a linen spray than a body spray - but I have used it as both for the same purpose. This is amazing for bedtime! I spray one mist of this on my bed or pajamas and then cozy in to bed! I have never had a problem falling asleep, but more so having a restful sleep is a bit of a problem - between the early teething mornings, baby monitor light in my face, hubby work shift work, the list goes on! But, this just really helps me relax and sleep really restfully. It smells nice and light - just like the Sleepy lotion, which I love!

March 2018 - What I Bought This Month!
Happy Monthly Shopping Haul time! I hope you guys enjoy seeing my shopping - for me it's a way of sharing everything I pick up; because, honestly I buy so much stuff that some doesn't get talked about at all until it appears in an empties post! But, if there is ever anything you want to see a full post on, just let me know and I will do it!
Also, I do "try" to stick to a monthly budget of $100, and these posts are supposed to keep me in check! (Haha - supposed to, being the key word! I am clearly a beauty addict!) I will only include products I have spent money on - gifts, pr samples, and freebies are usually shared on posts like my Five on Friday posts!
Here is a look at what I bought in March:
Sephora Order #1 ~ $31.50 CAN. I haaaad to order this Natasha Denona Mini Sunset Palette when it was released earlier this month! For only $30 CAN, this is adorable! A post will be coming soon! My deluxe sample is the Smashbox Superfan mascara and I redeemed 100 points for the Smashbox Primerizer. My 3 add on samples are from Lancome, Murad and Dr. Brandt.

Five on Saturday - March 24, 2018
Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all had a great week - mine has been pretty good; but, I am starting my count down for back to work! Four and a half more weeks to go - yuck! Also, Spring started this week and I'm hoping for nicer weather. We have had a brutal Winter here in Calgary - just so cold and snowy, I can't wait to get out more for my last few weeks before work!
ONE
So, sometimes I see a product that I want and I just add it to my eventually to buy list, and then there is other times I see products and I immediately find a way to try that product out now! That's how I felt when I read Jayne from Cosmetic Proof's post on the May Lindstrom The Blue Cocoon Beauty Balm - I neeeeeded to have it!
