Happy Sunday everyone! While shower gel may not seem like the most exciting product to talk about - I find it is a really important step in my overall skincare routine! Alberta is a dry climate, especially in the Winter time and I need to layer on moisturizers to keep my skin hydrated! 

A good shower gel with the right ingredients can be the first step in keeping skin hydrated and moisturized! Vichy has 2 good shower gel options for just that - a gel-cream base and a gel-oil base! 

Vichy Ideal Body Spa Shower Gel-Cream ~ $16.95. Cleansing Gel-Cream without soap for in- shower use. Transform your skin in 20 seconds. This shower gel is good for everyone - from very-dry to oily to sensitive skin! This shower gel-cream is made with vichy thermal-mineral water, shea butter, white clay and 10 fundamental oils for deep hydration and overall skin comfort! 

The consistency is great - it can be used with a loofah or by hand - whichever you prefer. Overall, I love the formula of this shower cream! it is soothing and moisturizing and keeps my skin feeling soft and hydrated!

This shower gel-oil is designed for every skin type and uses vichy thermal mineral water, magnesium, zinc, copper, plus 10 fundamental oils to keep the skin hydrated and glowing! 

The texture of this shower gel-oil is great - it is nice and smooth and slick! I would suggest this is a thinner formula and works better with a loofah or poof so it doesn't slip out of your hands! This has a nice, gentle scent and smells spa-like! 

I would suggest that these are both great shower products that are great first step in skin hydration! Personally, I prefer the gel-oil if I had to pick a favorite, but the gel-cream is still really great! These of course can be used all year round, but are great right now in a dry winter to really see how well they work!
