Mask Wednesday - Lovemore Camellia & Tourmaline Whitening Mask Review

I have a cute mask for today - it fits the Valentine's theme that has been going on a little bit here this month!

How cute is this packaging?! Like a little love letter! I received this in a Mask Genie surprise pouch and it is perfect for a fun Valentine's Day mask!

This mask is meant for whitening - the main ingredient is Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract which is also known as green tea leaf extract and is a very common ingredient in Eastern skincare products (and a lot of western products as well). It is most well known for it's anti-aging and complexion improving properties in skincare.

I'm so used to LoveMore masks coming with a silk sheet, that I am always surprised when they do not! Obviously they use other types on sheets, but LoveMore is a brand most famous for their 100% silk sheet masks.

This material is quite thick and has a quilted appearance. The mask came well soaked with essence. This mask said it was a 3D mask which usually means it comes with enough material to cover the whole neck - this mask did not. The fit was really big though and even with the side tabs, this did not fit my face well at all.

This mask did last well over 30 minutes on my face and I despite the fit, I really liked this mask. The essence brightened my skin and it felt good after - although, not as moisturized as I am used to after a sheet mask!

I am surprised that this mask is so hard to find online - it looks sold out on the few websites it shows up on! Again, LoveMore silk masks are much more readily available. I did like this, so if I were to see it again, I would probably pick it up!
