February 2017 - Month in Masks & Mask Empties!

Masking is a huge part (and probably my favorite part) of my skincare routine! I try to use all types of masks as often as possible as I find they really help moisturize and improve my skin!

This post is a review of all the masks I use each month and mini reviews on all of them - I also consider the Month of Masks my Mask Empties post, because I do not feature my sheet masks in my monthly empties post! You can check out my past Month of Masks here

Here is a look at the masks I used in February:
February 3
Sisley Paris Black Rose Cream Maskfull size is $225.00 (this is a sample size). The Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask offers the skin an instant youth effect. Rich in active anti-aging ingredients (Black Rose, Padina Pavonica and Alkekengi Calyx Extracts), it immediately gets to work on signs of fatigue and leaves the skin looking youthful and energized. It brings together three actions to restore a luminous complexion and re-densified skin in just 10 to 15 minutes: smoothing and plumping action, revitalizing, and softening and hydrating. Deliciously scented with Rose, this soft, creamy mask creates a moment of relaxation and pleasure.

This mask is a leave on mask - apply this and leave on for 10 to 15 minutes and wipe off any excess. This can also be used as an intensive overnight mask by leaving a generous layer on the skin overnight! This mask is so soft and soothing and smelled so good! This left my skin feeling supple and refreshed and I really liked this!
Repurchase: Ugh, it is damn expensive!

February 8
LoveMore Camellia & Tourmaline Whitening Mask ~ $1.90. Combining 3D mask with the best whitening ingredients and tourmaline, the benefits of the mask is released to every inch of your skin! Use it for 15 minutes daily and your skin will be fair like a princess.

I was expecting this Lovemore mask to be a silk mask, but it was a thick cotton mask. It was not a 3D mask like the packaging said - it was well soaked in essence but the fit was not amazing. It did work well to brighten my skin. I did a full review of this mask on a Mask Wednesday post and you can check it out here
Repurchase: Maybe - it seems pretty hard to find!

February 11
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery Eye Mask ~ $14.00 (4 masks for $49.00). A revolution in repair for fresh, youthful-looking eyes. Starting tonight, rejuvenate the look and feel of your eyes after the stresses of modern life—from long days to lack of sleep, even pollution. Instantly, your eye area feels cool and refreshed. In just 10 minutes, eyes look more rested, renewed Fine, dry lines are plumped as skin is drenched with hydration. Eyes look radiant, infused with luminous youth.

I love using eye masks and these were specially formulated with Advanced Night Repair technology. The packaging was really interesting and you had to infuse the eye masks by breaking open the essence package. I thought these worked well and my eyes looked well refreshed the morning after using them! I did a full detailed review on a Skincare Sunday post with these and you can check it out here
Repurchase: Likely!

February 15
Lush Brazened Honey Fresh Face Mask ~ $8.95. This deeply cleansing mask is full of herbs and spices used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine, like ginger, fennel, cardamom and turmeric: these gorgeous ingredients stimulate and warm the skin to give you a healthy glow. At the same time, lime oil brightens, honey moisturizes and ground almonds give a thorough exfoliation, all in a deep-cleansing kaolin clay base. Slap this on to revive sluggish or congested skin.

I love the Lush Fresh Masks so much and I was really excited to try this mask! My skin has been in extra need of deep cleanse and this mask really delivered! It smelled like honey and ginger and was fairly easy to wash off after about 10 minutes! I was really happy with this mask and I posted a full detailed review on a Mask Wednesday post that you can read here
Repurchase: Yes

February 16
Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask - Rose ~ $1.66. A mask containing essential moisture squeezed from fragrant roses to make skin smooth and radiant.

Innisfree makes a couple of different types of masks - the "it's real squeeze" masks are not my favorite type. The material and the fit are both just ok. This mask was fine, but the only way I can sum it up is "okay" - it worked fine, but was nothing extraordinary. I would recommend the skin clinic masks instead from Innisfree.
Repurchase: No...

February 19
Dragon's Blood Fix Plumping Mask ~ $14.95. An intensely hydrating gel mask combining multiple skin perfecting complexes to plump the look of wrinkles and refine the skin's appearance for a brighter, more youthful looking complexion.

This mask can be used as a rinse off mask or as a night mask - this has a nice cooling effect on the skin and was a really nice light gel. It didn't dry or harden on the skin making it easy to rinse off! I thought this smoothed out my skin and improved it's overall appearance! I also did a whole review of the Nip + Fab Dragon's Blood line on a past skincare sunday post - you can view the whole review here if you are interested!
Repurchase: I will keep trying it out before I decide!

February 22
The Face Shop Intense Firming Mascream Sheet ~ $5.00. First mask sheet with cream that feels like applying a whole jar of cream. The dense microfiber rich in cream adheres closely to the skin, providing soothing comfort. Contains an anti-aging cream. It is formulated with marine collagen and black truffle to leave skin looking supple and improve elasticity.

This mask is really great - it is soaked in a creamy essence and lasted for 45 minutes on my face! My skin was so moisturized and deeply hydrated; it felt amazing! This mask also fit really great and I was really happy with the results!
Repurchase: YES!

February 26
Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque ~ $62.00. All-in-one treatment masque detoxifies, brightens and invigorates normal to oily skin. Activated Binchotan Charcoal powerfully adsorbs impurities while Sulfur promotes cell turnover for dramatically brighter skin. Volcanic Ash, Sea Silt, Bamboo Extract and alpha hydroxy acids further accelerate skin brightening with dual-action exfoliation. Niacinamide helps reduce congestion and calm the skin while Chilean Wild Mint helps refine pores. Formulated without artificial fragrances, colors or parabens.

This mask was really good - it was a smooth, quick detoxifying mask. I just posted a full review of this mask on a Skincare Sunday post you can see here! I did notice that because it pulled impurities out of the skin that a few days later I had a few blemishes so keep that in mind, but I still really liked it!
Repurchase: I will use some more and see!

In February I only used 8 masks - this was less than in January! I really still am trying back in to my regular routine where I use waaay more masks than the last few months! I will do my best next month!
