January 2017 - What I Bought This Month!

Hi everyone - hope you guys are okay with seeing one more end of the month wrap-up post around here! 

I love seeing people's monthly hauls or shopping lists and I wanted to join in for 2 reasons:
1. I don't always share everything that I'm purchasing and some of it gets lost and doesn't pop up here until my empties time, which could be a long ways away! It's a great way to keep track of what I'm buying! 
2. Also, while I'm not planning a no-buy or anything, I think this will help keep me in check with my beauty spending this year! When the baby comes in May, my plan is to only spend about $100 per month on beauty products, including subscriptions! 

I will only include products I have spent money on - gifts, pr samples, and freebies are always shared on posts like my Five on Friday posts! 

ColourPop Order ~ $89.68. I couldn't resist trying some of the new ColourPop pressed powder single shadows - I pretty much watched KathleenLights video and selected most of here favorites! This order just got here yesterday and I will be digging in soon and sharing a big review with you guys! I won't list all the shadows now, but I also picked up the Ultra Satin Lip in "Panda" because it looks gorgeous! Each shadow is $5 (1 was free) and the lippie was $6. They also offered free shipping over $50 which is always good! 

Hawaii souvenirs ~ $14.00 US. I love the few cute goodies I picked up from my trip to Kauai - this pumice stone is made out of lava rock and is so cute ($6)! The mango lip balm was $3, and this handmade Lychee soap smells amazing and was $5! I would easily say money well spent!  

Pixi products mini haul ~ $54.60. I was soooo excited to hear that Pixi brand was coming back to Canada this month and is now sold at Shopper's Drug Mart! I have only got to try a fe4w of their products in the past that I have been able to pick up in the US, so I grabbed 3 new products to me - Hydrating Milky Mist, eyeshadow palette, and a peach colour correction concealer! I'm sure I will share my thoughts on all 3! hi

Handmade bath bombs ~ $6. I found these cute little bath bombs on a little Facebook auction group - there is a mermaid bath bomb and a fun Harry Potter bath bomb that sorts you in to a house with a different colour inside! 

Boxycharm ~ $29.00. I should probably get off the month to month plan and pay for a few months so I get it a bit of a discount! I can't believe I am actually down to paying for 1 beauty subscription a month - I never thought I would stop paying for Ipsy or Topbox (I'm sure it's not a forever breakup) but I am happy with my decision right now! 

Drugstore mini haul ~ $14.00. I was so excited to finally see the NYX HD finishing powder in Banana at my local London Drugs - it is never there and I am running low on the one I am working on. This is easily my favorite setting powder! Also grabbed this Sally Hansen polish in "Golden-I" which I am currently wearing on my nails (and loving!)

Well I will say good thing it's not May yet, because I did not stay under my limit - whoopsie! This month I spent $207.28 on beauty products! I am really excited for what I got though - is there anything in here you want to make sure I review? Let me know!
