Ipsy is generally make-up products with a mix of skincare, nail polish, and hair products based on a beauty profile you complete. There is usually 12-18 products that are selected from each month! You can view your "glam room" online that tells you all the products you will receive each month. You also receive a make-up bag each month with your products.
Ipsy always ships out in it's signature pink mailer, and here is a look at what came inside!
This month's theme is "Sugar Highness" and I can't say enough how cute the bag is! I actually want the second option of the green bag too! They were designed by the Ipsy founder, Michelle Phan.
Peter Lamas Supreme Radiance Complexion Booster ~ sample size 10 ml for $14.67 (full size is 30 ml for $44.00). SUPREME RADIANCE™ is a sheer complexion booster with a powerful blend of Retinol – at maximum strength without a prescription – and Salicylic Acid to help reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles, smooth skin tone and texture and improve resiliency for a more vibrant, youthful looking complexion. A potent antioxidant complex of Coenzyme Q-10 and Vitamin E Oil helps hydrate, smooth and protect skin, as it prevents the irritation commonly associated with Retinol use. Our ultra-sheer formula with light-reflecting minerals delivers instant radiance for a healthy, ageless looking glow.
Oh a complexion boosting booster/serum - I'm excited for this one! I like using a booster for my serum during the day as I find it is a little lighter than a full serum. This one sounds great and I have really enjoyed past products from Peter Lamas!
Ciaté London Paint Pot in Dangerous Affair ~ full size 13.5 oz for $15. No stranger danger here. Look poised and ready for any liaison this fall in this stunning shade of burgundy. Red and ready for action.
I love that this is full size but I actually own this colour already! I will pass this on!
IT Cosmetics No-Tug Waterproof Mini Gel Eyeliner ~ sample size 0.012 oz for $15.53 (full size is 0.017 oz for $22.00). Clinically shown silk waterproof automatic pencil infused with skin loving Hydrolyzed Silk, Collagen, Peptides and Anti-Oxidants.
I love It Cosmetics - their products have all been really great! I have so many eyeliners right now though, I will have to decide whether I save this for a while down the road or pass it on!
Nomad Cosmetics Intense Eyeshadow in Spice Market ~ sample size shadow approx. $5.22 (full palette is $47 for 9 items - I could not determine weight!) Enter the market of Marrakesh. Baked shadow in a rich copper shade that transports you. Blendable. Buildable. Now that’s the ticket. Intense color payoff, which means a little goes a long way. Super smooth application that lasts and lasts. Unexpected pop that draws attention where (and when) you want it.
This is a really beautiful shadow shade - a really nice warm, deep copper! I love this!
Beaute Basics 3 Tone Bronzer ~ sample size approx. $3.00 (full size is a 78 piece palette for $49.95 - again no weight for the full palette). The triple threat of bronzers. Three silky smooth shades perfect for all skin tones. All in one carry-anywhere palette for glow on-the-go.
I do find this a little weird that you can't buy bronzers from this brand and you can only buy these huge palettes. Anyways, I'm not thrilled with this product - these are really small bronzers and I don't use bronzer enough.
Ipsy came with 5 products - (1 full sized), and a total value of $53.42. This is a pretty normal value for an Ipsy bag! While I love the actual bag this month, this was not my favorite combination of products. I like the booster and the eyeshadow, but I just received a black gel liner last month and I own the polish already, and I will pass on the bronzer.
