This post contains referral links

Ipsy is one of the original inexpensive beauty bag sample subscriptions. You receive 4-5 deluxe sample size or full size products each month. The cost is $10 US (+ $4.95 shipping to Canada).

Ipsy is generally make-up products with a mix of skincare, nail polish, and hair products based on a beauty profile you complete. There is usually 12-18 products that are selected from each month! You can view your "glam room" online that tells you all the products you will receive each month. You also receive a make-up bag each month with your products.

Ipsy always ships out in it's signature pink mailer, and here is a look at what came inside!

December 2015 Ipsy Glam Bag - Unboxing and Review!

This month's bag is cute and the zipper pull is a pair of lips, but it is quite a small bag so it won't actually hold very much makeup!

Here is a look at the goodies inside:
December 2015 Ipsy Glam Bag - Unboxing and Review!

Hmmm... from first glance, I am not super thrilled with the products inside. But, here is a closer look at what I got:

Jersey Shore Vanilla Bean Anti-aging Lip & Hand Polish ~ full size 1oz for $25.00. This polish exfoliates dead flaky skin, leaving new skin refined and hydrated. Lips and hands feel silky, smooth, nourished and hydrated. Formulated using the best quality, all natural ingredients. Made with all natural brown sugar, vanilla bean extract, anti-aging vitamin E and nutrient dense jojoba oil, shea butter and plant extracts.

This smells good, but I do think $25 for hand scrub is slightly crazy! I do like the idea that this is a lib scrub also.

Marc Anthony True Professional Hydrating Coconut Oil & Shea Butter Deep Nourishing Conditioning Treatment ~ sample size 50ml for $2.99. Indulge with this extra hydrating deep nourishing weekly conditioning treatment. Wrap each hair strand in a veil of rich hydration, protecting hair from moisture loss and correcting the look and feel of dry, damaged, dull hair. Coconut Oil, Grape Seed Oil and Shea Butter offer three levels of rich hydration while Biotin promotes body and shine. Hair is left soft, detangled, strong and frizz free.

I don't buy myself deep conditioning treatments, but I like to use them when I get them!

Pacifica Power Of Love Natural Lipstick ~ full size $10. Amazingly creamy, highly-pigmented, and naturally moisturizing – this lipstick is packed with all the vitamins and antioxidants your lips crave. Made with coconut oil, shea butter, and vitamin E. 100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free.

The colour I received is "Tender Heart" - it is a neutral shade. It is pretty, but I think at the moment that I am a little lipsticked out so I think I will pass this on!

ModelCo Lip Enhancer Illusion Lip Liner - "Nudie Lip Liner" ~ full size $22.00. ModelCo’s LIP ENHANCER Illusion Lip Liner is a unique skin color, soft wax pencil which allows you to create the perfect pout by giving the illusion of natural, fuller lips.

I have actually started using lip liners quite often because of the last one Ipsy sent to me - this is a great color and will match my lips well. I think I will keep this as my back up liner!

Julie G Nail Color - "Pin Up Girl" ~ full size $3.99. Channel your inner pin-up girl! Highly-pigmented, no chip formula, with a brush applicator that glides on smooth for the perfect application.

This is a decent pink color, I like getting polishes so I will use this!

Ipsy came with 5 products (4 full sized!), and a total value of $63.98. This is a really high value for the bag and I can't believe that 4 of the 5 products are full sized. This bag had a really great variety, but overall this was not my favorite Ipsy bag. Most of the products were not really for me, so I will use some and I will pass some of them on.
