August 2016 - Monthly Empties

Here is a look at my Monthly Empties!
August 2016 - Monthly Empties

Kiesque LIQUID PALISADE™ Easy-Peel Polish Barrier ~ $17.00. Kiesque’s LIQUID PALISADE™ Easy-Peel Polish Barrier is perfect for keeping your cuticles free from polish when brushing on traditional manis or water-marble designs. A liquid tape designed for your nails, it features a quick-drying formula and an easy-to-use handle with a short, wide brush for instant application to cuticles.

I completed a full review on this product for a Mani Monday - you can view it here! This is a barrier for doing nail art. I really liked this product; but, when I went to use it this month - it dried up on me! I only got through about half the product and the rest came out in a big clump!
Repurchase: Yes probably!

Ipsy always ships out in it's signature pink mailer, and here is a look at what came inside!

December 2015 Ipsy Glam Bag - Unboxing and Review!
This month's bag is cute and the zipper pull is a pair of lips, but it is quite a small bag so it won't actually hold very much makeup!

November 2015 Empties (and a couple Tosses)

Time to review another batch of empties - I actually love going through all my products and deciding what I loved and didn't love about everything!

Let's dig right in:

Dove Go Fresh Rebalance Body Wash ~ $4.97. The soothing nature-inspired scent of plum and sakura blossom now infused with NutriumMoisture.

I always get body washes in big gift packages (Superstore always has deluxe grocery add-ons). So this was good and smells great - I like Dove body washes, but again I have so many body washes to get through!
Repurchase: No, too many body washes and this was nothing special

Ipsy arrived sooo late this month (on August 31) - it seems that every time I get an add on point item, I am the last to receive my bag. I hate to sound like a whiner, but when people get theirs on the 14th/15th mine should arrive around then too!  Here is a look at the August Ipsy bag:

This month's theme is "Prep School". This month's bag is cute - I like the hounds-tooth pattern, but am not a huge fan of the material.

August 2015 Topbox - Canadian Beauty Subscription Box Review

TopBox is a Canadian Beauty Box Subscription - for $12 CDN a month with free shipping, you will receive 4 deluxe sample size or full size products. You fill out a beauty profile and generally receive products based on what you have identified in the profile. Also, every month you have the option to wish for a "prive" box, which is a box that focuses on one brand or product for the whole box.

TopBox is a Canadian company and only ships to Canada. The only downside to subscribing to TopBox is that there is a wait-list that can take a month or two to get off of.

For August, I opted for the regular Topbox. Here's a look:

It always comes in this purple mailer! This month's Topbox came with 5 items; every subscriber received a bonus Tresemme mousse.
