Wine + Mask Wednesday (Portada Estremadura Wine + Lassie'el Raspberry Age Defying Yogurt Massage Mask)

Time for another Wine and Mask Wednesday - my theme this week is Berries! (I know this is generally a common theme but there is so many berry wines and berry masks, I feel like I have to do it quite a bit to try everything!)

This smells so good! But first, here is my Wine of the Week:

Portada Estremadura ~ around $15. This was one of the wines I received in my Co-op Wine Discovery Kits this month! I don't drink red wines too often, but this one was described as a sweeter red:
"This deep, ruby red, medium-bodied wine has berry fruit flavors and a beautiful balance."

This wine is made in Lisboa, Portugal and sounds delicious. I like lighter reds refrigerated for a short time so they are lightly chilled!

This was much darker than I anticipated the wine being - almost a deep berry red! And it tasted great, for looking so dark it was actually quite light and refreshing. The berry flavors were prominent and it was a delicious sipping wine and would just as easily pair great with dinner.

Here is the berry mask I have chosen to pair with my berry wine this week:

Lassie'el Raspberry Age Defying Yogurt Massage Mask ~ $6 for 4 mask packs. I received these masks in the Memebox Winter Mask Essentials. What I love about the packaging of these masks is they come with a reusable lid - so if you do not need the whole mask pack, you simple seal it up with an airtight lid (in the fridge once it has been opened)

Here is how Memebox described this mask:
"Deeply replenish and revive dry, dulled skin with a rich blend of yogurt extracts that effectively sloughs away dead skin cells and skin impurities from the pores and prevent oxidation of the skin. The yogurt formula consists of lactobacillus, raspberry extracts, and collagen extracts which all work to fight and diminish appearance of wrinkles and sagging, aging skin."

I decided, like the wine I paired with it, to put this mask in the fridge for a few hours so it was chilled when I used it - amazing idea! It went on and instantly cooled my skin and was so refreshing! Here is a look at the mask:

It was a different texture than I was expecting but felt great - and it smells amazing!!! Like raspberry candy - so good!

The directions for the mask are:
1. Wash and tone skin
2. Apply this mask to face (I only needed about half of one pack to cover my face):

3. Massage in to skin until beads disappear into skin

4. Leave on for 5-10 minutes
5. Rinse off
6. Complete night time skincare routine

I can't get over how good this mask smells! It was awesome to wear - my skin felt very soft afterwards!! I really enjoyed this and I like that each pack has more than one use making this mask very affordable! I am also going to look for some other types of masks from this brand and see what other kinds they have available!

How was your Wine and Mask Wednesday?
