April 2015 Beauteque Mask Maven Subscription Review

Beauteque is an American company that focuses on creating a beauty bag subscription feauturing Asian Beauty products. Beauteque launched their original "BB Bag" Subscription in January and their "Mask Maven" was just launched in March - this is the second one!

The Mask Maven subscription is described as:

"The Mask Maven is a luxurious subscription service offering a lovely assortment of masks each month to keep your skin smooth, soft, and spectacular.
You will receive all kinds of masks including face sheet masks, hand and feet masks, hair masks, wash off masks, and more."

Beauteque Mask Maven is $15 monthly - if you sign up for a longer subscription, you can save a little money: $14 per month if you sign up for 6 months, or $13 per month if you sign up for 12 months. Shipping per month is $3.95 for the U.S., $5.95 to Canada, and $8.95 to Europe. Each month you can expect to receive 9-11 masks of all varieties

Here is a look at the April 2015 Mask Maven:

This month's bag came with 10 masks (unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of all 10 together - whoops!).
I like when bags include product cards, but I will still look everything up! Here is a closer look at the 10 masks inside:

Holika Holika Juicy Mask Sheet in Pomegranate ~ $2. Pomegranate that is rich of estrogen which promote vibrant and smooth-looking skin.
I have not tried any Holika Holika masks yet so I am excited to try these. I like the packaging - they are very cute!

Holika Holika Juicy Mask Sheet in Mango ~ $2. Mango juice for radiant skin that is full of vitality (revitalizing).
I am okay with Beauteque for including two masks of the same brand because they are different types and I will happily try both kinds!

My Beauty Diary Coix Seed Mask ~ $1.59 (pack of 10 for $15.90) This mask is for brightening and soothing.
First of all, I had to google what a Coix Seed was! It is just a shown, a plant seed used in traditional medicine. I have received a couple of My Beauty Diary masks and I like that they are affordable!

My Beauty Diary Red Vine Mask ~ $1.64 (pack of 10 for $16.40). My Beauty Diary Red Vine Mask is a brightening and revitalizing product. Red wine polyphenols is also known as red grape polyphenols. It has reputation for its anti-oxidizing function. With camellia seeds, yeast compound extracts, it improves dull and tired skin, skin becomes radiant and elastic, healthy as blushed.
I like wine and I like masks, so this seems like a good product for me!

Tony Moly Red Cheeks Girl's Patch ~ $1.62 (set of 5 for $8.14). Cheek patch that offers moisture to red cheeks to sooth gently.
These are so cute! Although, I'm not entirely sure how practical they are! I can't remember the last time I thought of using a mask when my cheeks were flushed?! Now that I think about it, these would be great cooled off in the fridge after a long day outside!

Hanaka 2-Step Pore Eraser ~ $1.99. Step 1:Evenly on both sides of the nose, keep 15 minutes. Step 2:Finished step 1 use step 2 lotion to your skin, given effect convergence pores.
I like using the 1 step nose strips so this 2-step idea is interesting! I haven't tried this before - should be interesting.

Leaders Mediu Amino AC-Free Mask ~ $3.09 (10 for $30.90) Calming + Amino Acid.
I have heard lots of great things about Leaders masks so I am very excited to try this! Also, anything with snail goo in it is a win for me (it works wonders on the skin).

Etude House Korean Ginseng ~ $0.95. This mask sheet contains nourishing Korean Ginseng extract (Panax Ginseng Root Extract), enhancing a youthful complexion by revitalizing exhausted and lifeless skin.
I have liked all the Etude House products I have tried so far so I am looking forward to trying this one!

Hanaka Pomegranata + Q10 Mask ~ $1.89 (10 for $18.90). This is a Botanic Treatment Reviving Mask for Resiliency.
I am excited to try these Hanaka items - it is a Taiwanese company and look highly reviewed!

3W Clinic Fresh Milk Mask Sheet ~ $1.40 (10 for $14.00). Formulated with Milk Protein Extracts to improve skin's elasticity and provides cleaning & astringent effects to remove grease & oil.
I actually received this same mask in last month's Beauteque's Mask Maven. I actually have not had a chance to try this mask from last month, but I am not thrilled about receiving the same mask.

This month's Beauteque's Mask Maven subscription came with 10 masks, with a total value of $18.17. I have come to discover that Mask Subscriptions are not about the entire value of the bag - it is all about the curation and discovering new brands and types of masks to try!!!

I am happy with this month's bag - last month I had a few duplicates with types of masks (I received 2 collagen masks, etc.) I made a note that I would prefer all different types of masks, so I am very happy to see that they took that advice in to account and all the masks were different!

Have you tried Beauteque's Mask Maven subscription yet? What do you think?
