June 2014 Ipsy Glam Bag - Review and Unboxing

Ever since I received my first Ipsy bag last month, I have been looking forward to receiving more!!! Ipsy is $10 US a month plus $5 shipping to Canada ($16.64 this month with the conversion rate). Each month you receive 4-5 beauty samples or full size products.

Here is the first look at my June Ipsy bag:
This month's theme is "Pretty in Paradise" and here is a breakdown of the 5 products I received:

Real Tree for Her Fragrance: 5 ml travel spray is $6.99 (the full size is 100ml on sale right now for $19.99 - i did the math and this is about $1).

The scent is described as pomegranate, orchids, lotus, amber and violets. I have never heard of the company and had to look them up (apparently they are the leading company in camo designs) but i like the scent of this - i don't like overly floral and thought this was a nice balance.

NYX Butter Gloss in Eclair: $5 full size lip gloss. Described as silky smooth and feels like it melts on your lips. The gloss is soft and not sticky. Eclair is a light pink color - i don't wear a ton of light pink it's not my favorite, but maybe when I have a tan in the summer it will look a little nicer!

OFRA Universal Eyebrow Pencil: $13 full size product. This product is called universal as it one color and is suitable for all skin tones. I really liked this product - it went on very smooth and suited my skin tone. See the picture below to see what it looks like on me.

Nicka K New York Shimmer Eyeliner in Blue : $4.99 full size product. Foam tip applicator, water & smudge proof and fade-resistant. I can say that this product did go on well and was water resistant - it took a bit of work to remove so shows it stays on well! I'm just not a huge fan of the color (i had a huge glitter eyeliner phase in my early 20's and it brought me back to those days.). I will keep though like all my glitter - Halloween and funny themed nights are always a time to pull out the glitter!

Carol's Daughter Sacred Tiare Anti-Breakage & Anti-Frizz Styling Cream: $6 for sample size 15ml (full size is 30ml for $12). Described as protective blow dry cream to help reduce frizz and breakage. This product smells AMAZING!!! I love it - I used it last night and really enjoyed - i always write that i'm not a huge fan of receiving hair care products but this is great & I will consider buying the full size when I'm done my sample!

So I paid just over $16 for my Ipsy bag and got $30 worth of products (i only counted the perfume as $1) and 3 of the 5 items were full sized products. I am happy with this month's bag and really like most of the products!!!

I love the little pink mailer they send every month in and this month's bag was designed by Rebecca Minkoff! It's actually quite cute. I have read in the past some people really don't like the bags, but I have loved the last two months! They are definitely a bonus to me!

What did you think of this month's Ipsy bag and what products did you get??
