As with every new month, the #CBBxManiMonday group has a new theme for the month and it is pastels! Just like green last month, I find pastels a little bit of a challenge; but, I'm hoping I am able to come up with some good nail art!
For this week, I went with this geometric theme over this pastel light nude - the accent shades are a mix of neons and bright neons (is that a thing?!), anyways I love the combination of colours!
The polishes I used for this week's manicure are:
- Nails Inc polish in Peach Tease
- Revlon Ultra HD Snap! polish in Get Real
- Color Club Art Club polish in Cantaloupe Matte
- Color Club Art Club polish in Lavender Matte
- Orly Instant Artist polish in Crisp White
- Moyra Matte Top Coat
For this manicure, I started with a base coat and two coats of a nude polish as the base. Then, using the deeper purple shade, painted a triangle in the top corner of each nail. With each light nail art shade, I painted three stripes up the length of the nail. Then, as the nail art polishes were matte, I thought a matte finish top coat would be perfect - and I love the way it turned out!
