Here's a look at what I was loving in March:
The AC spot treatment was received as a PR sample
I feel like there was a few products that were instant loves for me this month, which was very exciting! I also love when there is a good mix of makeup and skincare each month!
Here's a closer look at my favourites:
Pixi On-the-Glow Blush in Juicy ~ $24.00 CAN. Formulated with Ginseng, Aloe Vera and a unique mix of Fruit Extracts, this tinted balm provides a hint of natural colour while hydrating and conditioning skin.
There have been so many cream blushes released lately and I haven't loved the squeezy tube formula, so when I saw this stick form blush, I was super intrigued! I don't apply the stick right to my face (although you could) - I just apply this with a duo-fiber brush from the stick to the cheeks and it's lovely. This has great colour, blends nicely and wears so well! It dries down and doesn't stay tacky or anything and it just looks lovely! I've used this every time I've done my makeup - you can see it on me here on My Whole Face of Drugstore Makeup!
Auric Smoke Reflect in Temper ~ $39.00 US. A smokeshow in a jar. Heads will turn with these eye catching shadow duos. Create creamy-matte, or metallic-glitter looks with two luxe formulas (in a single gorgeous package). Under the top lid is a light-reflecting, micro-glitter eyeshadow infused with high-shine pearls. Inside the glass is a smooth, longwear, creaseless cream shadow.
Okay, all 3 of these makeup products had me instantly in love - I was very excited about the Auric Cosmetics launch (you can see my swatches and thoughts on both products on a full review on the brand here!) This is a cream and metallic glitter shadow duo and it's absolutely lovely! This is a fantastic one and done quick look - the cream shadow applies so easily, has enough depth for me to wear alone and the topper applies easily over the shadow. I loved the look this gave me - it is super pretty!
Indeed Laboratories Hydraluron+ Tinted Lip Treatment in Red ~ $14.99 CAN. Hydraluron+ tinted lip treatment in red contains extremely soothing ingredients that are designed to nourish, plump, hydrate, and tint lips. A combination of pomegranate sterols, hyaluronic acid, coffee, tea, and tropical fruit extracts work to increase hydration, promote elasticity, and replenish lip’s moisture barrier.
I have been hearing great reviews about this, so I picked this up and tried it as part of my Trying Newer Drugstore Makeup Products and I can see why there is so many rave reviews, it is amazing! This is nourishing and hydrating lip treatment and it adds just a tiny tint, but also makes the lips look luscious and a little fuller! It lasts a while and is so lovely! (Again, instant love with this one too and have been wearing it non-stop like the other two makeup products!)
Krave Beauty Great Barrier Relief ~ $59.99 CAN. A creamy, nourishing serum that calms signs of sensitivity and evens out skin without the greasy after feeling. A blend of conditioning oils fight irritation, discoloration and breakouts caused by a damaged skin barrier. Skin looks clear, feels calm, and probably sounds amazing.
Finally a retailer in Canada is selling Krave - run, don't walk to The K Shop! I was so excited to pick this up and I will review all the Krave products that I tried soon! I don't use many creamy serums, so I like this texture and it's really easy and comfortable on the skin! It's full of great oils and has been helpful on my skin that has not been behaving very nicely!
FabYou Red Blemish AC Spot ~ $6.00 US. It is an AC spot cream with soft cream formulation, that applies smoothly and it contains Asiaticoside extracted from Centella asiatica to help intensive care for sensitive areas.
Again, my skin hasn't been great lately, so this has been a really great spot treatment - I was impressed with the gentle spot treatment formula, but it's effective and has helped minimize my breakouts and clear them up quicker!
And, since I've been using all three of those makeup products every time I'm putting makeup on, here's a little look with the Pixi Blush, Auric Smoke Reflect Shadow and Indeed Labs lip treatment:
What have you been loving this month?!
