Manicure Monday - Yellow Polka Dot Bikini Nail Art

"It was an itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka-dot bikini. That she wore for the first time today." Is this song not the most classic Summer song?!

So when I saw "bathing suit" on the list of Summer Lingo themes for our #CBBxManiMonday, I had to try this out and Yellow Polka Dot Bikini was the first thing that came to my mind (I also added in a one-piece since that's my personal preference nowadays!)

I love this combination of peach and yellow and the bikini was fun to do! The yellow polka dot feels perfectly Summerly! 

The products that I used for this week's Manicure are:

• Essie in Full Swing polish
• Innisfree polish in #203 Woody
• Orly instant artist in Jet Black and Crisp White 
• Moyra Top Coat for Nail Stamping
• nail dotting tool 
• nail art brush

For this manicure, I started with a base coat. Then on my pinky and ring fingers I painted two coats of yellow polish, and used white polish to create polka dots all over the nails. Then on my middle and pointer finger, I painted two coats of a peachy pink polish for the base. I used the yellow polish and a nail art brush and I hand-painted the shape of a bikini and bathing suit. Then I added on polka dots on to the yellow bathing suits. Also, I thought it needed to pop a little more and outlined it in black.
