I have been seeing these "Smoosh" manis for quite some time and I've always wanted to try them; but, I didn't really know how!
Thanks to Trysh's post about 5 ways to use a nail stamper, I saw I could use a nail stamper for a smoosh manicure and I was sold!
The products I used for this week's nails are:
-Orly Instant Artist in Foil Silver
-Essie polish is Go Ginza
-Sally Hansen polish in Late Night Lilac
-OPI polish in Samurai Breaks A Nail
-Butter London polish in Ultra Violet
-nail stamper
To create this manicure look, I started with a nail cleanser and base coat, and 1 coat of the lightest shade of purple - Essie Go Ginza. Then, working quickly, I applied a few dots of each polish I was using to the stamper, with the silver glitter being last so it was nice and prominent. Then, I just smooshed it over top of the nail (if you had a barrier for your cuticles and around your nails, it's a great time to use them, I just don't right now!) Then I let it dry, cleaned up around my nails are finished with a top coat!
Have you ever done a smoosh mani before?! Make sure to check out Cosmetic Proof, Prairie Beauty Love, and Tea & Nail Polish to see what they came up with for their bright nails this week!
