We spent the Thanksgiving weekend at the cabin with our family - it was a beautiful, quiet weekend that was so relaxing! I read a whole book, did lots of scrapbooking and enjoyed the weekend!

At the end of the Summer, I took a day and purged my closet of clothes that didn't fit, were getting old, etc so I picked up a couple of things to refresh my clothes. I ordered from Dynamite and as someone who used to not be down for bodysuits, I have to say I actually love them now! The ones I picked up were the Seamless V Neck Bodysuit (currently on sale for $10.50 CAN), Tana Short Sleeve Ribbed Bodysuit (sold out of the ribbed style, but same cut available here), Drea Sculpt Short Sleeve Crew Neck Bodysuit in Damson Purple, the Jules Sculpt Short Sleeve Scoop Neck Bodysuit and the Stainless Steel Chunky Curb Link Necklace.

I heard so many good things about Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros that naturally I had to jump on this bandwagon too and I really enjoyed this! 4.5 stars. This is an adult fantasy where we are introduced to our main character, Violet as she is getting ready to go in to a high stakes war college, she has been studying to become a scribe, but because her Mother is a high-profile Dragon Rider, she insists her daughter follow in her foot-steps. The setting is a high-stakes, often brutal and violent place with everyone competing to eventually get chosen by a dragon. When they are selected, they also manifest a power in themselves that can only be called forward through their dragon.

By this point you should know that I can't resist a Joe Fresh x Jillian Harris collab - they always come out with the cutest items, and I was really good this time, only picked up a couple of clothing items and a few home goods (loved that they expanded to include a cute outdoor Summer line as well).
