October 2016 - Ipsy Glam Bag Unboxing and Review

This month's theme is "Black Magic" - great for Halloween! And this month's bag is AMAZING! It is so cute - I love it!

Here is a look at the items I received in this month's bag:
October 2016 - Ipsy Glam Bag Unboxing and Review

Noyah Natural Lipstick in "Currant News" ~ sample size 1.4 g for $5.60 (full size is 4.5 g for $18.00). Nothin’ but lip. For real. When it comes to the best natural ingredients and the most effective lipsticks, glosses and balms—they have every pout and pucker covered. Think beeswax for added moisture, coconut oil to soften lips, olive oil for its healing properties and stevia for an extra dose of sweetness you can literally taste. That’s why we’re mouthing off about them to everyone.

This is a really dark shade - I have been trying to use deeper shades in Fall, but this is way too dark for me!

The Balm CabanaBoy Blush ~ sample size 0.02 for $1.40 (full size is 0.3 oz for $21.00). Nothing is more satisfying than being indulged, and this dusty-rose blush will ensure that you have all the boys attending to you. Its subtle shimmer catches the eye while plum undertones provide a glow that is oh-so-natural, whether you are pool-side, beach-side or bed-side.

This is a really small blush sample. I like The Balm cosmetics, but this is probably a little darker than I normally reach for as well. I'm thinking I will swap this.

Preventive Measures 101 - Lips 101 After Hours ~ full size $13.00. We created Lips 101 After Hours with the same extraordinary
technology and innovative ingredients without the SPF 30. We increased the moisture ingredients to maximize its benefits
to the lips. In Lips 101 after hours, we have formulated the product to intensify
the benefits to relieve cracked, wrinkled and dry lips. Increasing the anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory delivery system
technology.

Alright i'm torn on this one - I mean I love lip balm and wear it every day, but it's not the most exciting thing to get in a beauty bag is it? Anyways I will use it...

Lovely Sarah Jessica Parker - Fragrance Rollerball ~ full size $20.00. Lovely on the inside. Classic charm comes together with modern glamour in this silky white amber fragrance. In a perfectly portable rollerball to experience lovely everywhere you go.
-top notes: mandarin, bergamot, rosewood, lavender and apple martini.
heart notes: patchouli, paper whites and orchid.
-base notes: cedar wood, white amber, and sultry musks and woods.

I don't love receiving fragrances in my bags, but I will say that I appreciate that this is a full size roll on as opposed to a sample size. I don't mind the scent so I will use this.

Essence Cosmetics - superfine eyeliner pen waterproof ~ full size $2.99. Precise and extremely long-lasting eyeliner styles are easier than ever to create with this thin felt-tipped smudge and waterproof pen. Waterproof without any stain effect, any line you create from subtle to dramatic will remain intact.

I have tried a thicker essence eyeliner before and wasn't a huge fan - I will give this a shot though and see if I like the superfine eyeliner better!

Ipsy came with 5 products - (3 full sized), and a total value of $42.99. I have been feeling a little disappointed with the last few months of Ipsy; this month included. The lipstick and blush colour weren't really for me, the lip balm, fragrance and eyeliner are fine - just nothing exciting! I'm really hoping in November I get some better products!

What did you get in your Ocotber Ipsy bag?
