Guerlain Météorites Flocons Enchantés - Makeup Review and Swatches

I don't always consider myself a huge splurger on makeup - I like to try new things, but be reasonable about it! 

But there are some things I cannot resist and Guerlain Météorites are one of them! While the price tag can give some people a little bit of sticker shock - they seriously last forever, so it makes it worth it! I ordered the regular illuminating pearls back in April 2014 and still have some left! 

I am running a little low, so when I saw Guerlain's Holiday 2015 collection I lost all self control! (Good thing The Bay had a $10 off coupon and free shipping! I counted this as my birthday present to myself!)

Guerlain Météorites Flocons Enchantés ~ $89.00. Applied with a large snowball powder puff, precious Météorites pearls enhance the face and décolleté.

I'm in love with how beautiful this is and I haven't even opened it yet! Here is a look at the product itself:

Amazing - I thought it would be hard to catch the gentle shimmer, but these are meant to be light reflecting to give off the perfect "glow".

This is just to show a hint of the color - when you apply this to the face it adds just the right amount of glimmer. You can use the pouf provided, but I prefer to apply these with a big fluffy brush! I apply a light dusting all over the face! Also, if your chest is showing, you can add these to the collar bone and cleavage for a very gentle glow! 

The Guerlain Météorites all come with a bit of a scent that may take some getting used to, but I love the smell! 

Ahh, these are amazing - and while the price tag is a little high, these will last for years!
