Sometimes I have no better reason for purchasing a product, except that the packaging is too cute to resist! That is the sole reason I selected this gem:
Baviphat Strawberry Toxifying Mask ~ $15 - $20. A Strawberry?! I die, how cute is this thing?! I decided whatever it was, I had to have it!! And even better when it turned out to be a clay mask!
Beauteque describes this mask as:
"This deep cleansing wash-off clay mask helps to tighten pores, control sebum and give relief to troubled skin. The Baviphat Strawberry Toxifying Mask contains strawberry extract (sebum control and acne prevention) and fruit acids full of Vitamin C that can help remove dead skin cells and tighten pores. Also, antoxidants help to prevent skin problems will reveal bright and clear skin while simultaneously helping to stave off the effects of ageing, such as enlarged pores as well as troubled skin problems. Also included in the kit is a spatula for hygienic purposes."
Here is a look when you open it up:
I love these little spatulas - they are awesome! So handy instead of scooping your fingers in (just make sure you wash it off well after you use it!)
It has a little hint of pink to it! I love the texture of clay masks - they are so smooth, and this one is no exception! Did I mention it actually smells like strawberries?! And just a hint, it isn't overwhelming so it makes wearing this for 20 minutes really enjoyable!
This mask is very easy to use! Wash face and apply with spatula, and leave on for 20-25 minutes.
Here is what it looks like on:
Like all other clay masks, this one does harden as it is drying. Here is how it looked after 20 minutes:
The only thing that is not great about this mask is that it is slightly messy to take off (as most clay masks are!) It definitely takes a few thorough rinses to make sure it is all off, but it is totally worth the removal process!
Final Thoughts: My skin actually felt deeply cleaned after using this this mask! My pores looked smaller and my skin looked clearer! It smelled and felt great. Everything about it was fantastic! Again, my only complaint is that clay masks are a bit of a pain to remove! I highly recommend this mask!
OMG, that strawberry is so cute. It reminds me of the Tony Moly fruit packaging. That alone is worth it. But I'm glad you got a good result with the product itself. I like clay masks, though with my dry sensitive skin, I mix up the different kinds of masks I use. But if I saw this cutie, I'd buy it in a heartbeat
ReplyDeleteYes I have dry and sensitive skin as well so I use a lot of sheet masks - these are the once in a while masks!

DeleteI love this mask! Strawberries are great for those who have oily or acne prone skin too! What I use to help get off the mask is a big facial sponge - it really does help to clean off those clay masks Great review #kbeautybloghop
