My inspiration this week is: splatter nails!
These are fun to do - they can get a little messy, but I love the end result!
Here are the products I used this week:
I used:
- Formula X nail cleanser, base coat & top coat
- Formula X cosmic - plum pearl
- Julep in Evie
- Sally Hansen in Wet Cement
- Straw & paper towel
Here are the steps:
1.Paint the base of the nails in a lighter color (i chose grey), & I also chose my 2 splatter colors to be accent nails instead of all 5 splatter. So I painted my thumb, pointer, and ring finger in grey, my middle finger pin, and my ring finger purple.
2. Wait until the nails are dry and splatter. I paint the bottom of the straw, making sure a little polish is covering the opening. Blow on the opposite end of the straw over the nail. (maybe practice a few times if you are unsure - it takes a couple of tries to get used to!)
3. Complete on the nails as many times as you like. It will be a little messy and requires some clean up.
Here is what it will look like:
So, a little messy - but I think once you clean it up they look so fun!
What did you do for your Manicure Monday this week?
