The Lush Kitchen Subscription box is a monthly subscription box full of exclusive Lush Kitchen goodies made exclusively for the box - every month subscribers vote on the monthly menu of products that they would or would not like to see in the box, so you can help pick what is included in the box! Also, all of the products included in each box will be vegan. 

Each month the Lush Kitchen Subscription is $49.95 CAN box is per month + shipping (shipping to Alberta is $6.00 CAN and likely varies province to province). The subscription will come with 4-5 exclusive products and I think it will include a variety of products that Lush makes; but, will of course be mostly bath and body products.

I love that this month's theme is Bridgerton, usually May comes with custom Mother's Day items, but this is cute because Season 3 is coming out right away (today as this is posting!)

Winter 2023 - The Jilly Box Subscription Unboxing

I'm a big fan of Jillian Harris, so when she announced that she was starting a subscription box, I was so excited! The box started with the Winter 2019 box and sadly, I was not one of the lucky originals who won a subscription spot, so I sign up every season and hope to get picked for a lottery spot!

The Jilly Box is a quarterly seasonal subscription box - the products within the box include some of Jillian’s (and Team Jilly’s!) favourite items (and brands) from home decor, fashion, bath and beauty, health and wellness, accessories perfect for each season. Some of the items included will be custom designed exclusively for the Jilly Box. The Jilly Box really focuses on including products from small, local businesses while being ethically sourced and inclusive. They also focus on reducing plastic waste and packaging - the big boxes can be turned inside out and reused! Also, they try to include Canadian, woman owned brands, as well as Bipoc and LGBTQ owned brands as well. 

Lush Halloween 2023 Goodies

I have been trying to slow down on my bath product buying; but, my hubby knows how much I love Lush Halloween and went and picked up some lovely Lush goodies for me and I'm so excited for all of these!

This is a classic Lush soap but I like the scent of bergamot and citrus together! I'm a huge fan of Lush soap and this is amazing that it glows in the dark!

Lush x Super Mario Bros Products

I have been trying to slow down on the bath products while I use some of the older products that I have, but I couldn't resist picking up a few products when I saw that they came out with a collaboration with Super Mario Bros with the new movie that just came out!

I always love Lush's Halloween line - I mean all their holiday collections are fabulous, but their Halloween collections are always so much fun!

I'm really trying to use up all my bath products before buying anything new because I have quite the stockpile; but, the only exception to this is bubble bars! I use up bubble bars consistently so I only every have a few in my collection, so I was excited that I had some room to pick up a few new Lush Bubble Bars from their Halloween collection!

Happy 7 Year Blogiversary! Celebrating With A Self Care Giveaway Supporting All Local Calgary Brands!

Today, May 12, marks the 7th Blogiversary of See The World in PINK! It's a little crazy that 7 years ago I started this blog with a little Manicure Monday post - Hearts, Glitter and Stripes! I actually started this blog with reviewing subscription boxes and my manicures (so they have been a regular since the start!)

It took me a couple of years before I started doing full beauty content and really getting in to the makeup and skincare side of things! But, I'm so happy I've expanded in those areas and I love where See The World in PINK has gone over the past 7 years!!! I know I'm still a tiny blog in the beauty world; but, I'm still happy with everything that I've gotten to do over the past few years in this little space!

Relaxing Bubblebath Night With Dr. Teals Melatonin Epsom Salts and Foaming Bath

It's been a week around here (or if we are being real, it's been a year, right?!) I know that my general stress have been pretty high since the pandemic and all this up and down with restrictions, plus personal and work things has me feeling pretty wound up and burnt out lately.

I was really hoping to go for a facial this Mother's Day for a relaxing day, but, of course with new restrictions, that is not going to happen at all! So, I planned ahead in case and ordered this lovely Super Mom Box by XO Treatment Room! Everything is made by the owner Annie, and she has fabulous formulas! This comes with everything you need for a relaxing spa night it: cleanser, microfibre cloth, super mask and brush applicator, nighttime facial oil, bath soak (or scrub), a candle and a do not disturb sign. So many goodies, all for $200!
