The Lush Kitchen Subscription box is a monthly subscription box full of exclusive Lush Kitchen goodies made exclusively for the box - every month subscribers vote on the monthly menu of products that they would or would not like to see in the box, so you can help pick what is included in the box! Also, all of the products included in each box will be vegan.
Each month the Lush Kitchen Subscription is $49.95 CAN box is per month + shipping (shipping to Alberta is $6.00 CAN and likely varies province to province). The subscription will come with 4-5 exclusive products and I think it will include a variety of products that Lush makes; but, will of course be mostly bath and body products.
I purchased this box
Each month you pay and vote for products that are coming in the following month's box - so for this October box, you had until September 5 to vote on the products you'd like to see and then payment comes out on the 6th of the previous month. Then, Lush spends the month making the products and ships it out at the end of September so you receive it in October!
You do have the option to skip months, which is great - I only get it every few months! The box arrived filled with Lush's usual cornstarch peanuts, an ingredient card, and the a QR code to scan for product details. (If you are interested, this started in the UK and the boxes are all the same in all the countries!)
Here is a closer look at the products in this month's box:
Lush Treasure Map Exclusive Kitchen Fabric Packaging ~ This reusable fabric wrap is made from recycled plastic bottles and features a mysterious map with the secret location of Lush's first store in Poole, England.
Okay, this is lovely - it's huge and it's similar to their knot wraps, so a fabric style wrap! I love that this is made out of 100% recycled bottles, and the print is pirate-y and halloween-y and it's lovely!
Lush Scrub Scrub Scrub Kitchen Exclusive Body Scrub ~ Explore the depths of a pot of this black scrub with blackberry and lime puree and transform the texture of your skin in the shower.
Lush has amazing scrubs - they exfoliate and suds up and are just really lovely. I love that this one is black too because it's so perfect for the Halloween month! So much fun!
Lush Smuggler's Soul Multi-Use Cream Exclusive To Kitchen ~ Smooth over the face, the body, hands or hair. It's so versatile, you can use it while shaving too!
Smuggler's Soul is one of those beloved Lush scents - it's a spicer scent that came out years ago for Father's Day and has been in a variety of products. I quite like it, and I like that this is a multi-use product, but I tend not to use the same products on body and face, so it will be a body product for me!
Lush Pumpkin Patch Exclusive Kitchen Bath Bomb ~ Immerse yourself in sparkling waters scented with grapefruit and juniper. Organic pumpkin seed oil softens and nourishes the skin.
Okay, a pirate pumpkin bath bomb?! I die - it's so stinkin cute and the pirate theme is just so fabulous!
Lush Redbeard Shower Gel Exclusive to Kitchen ~ Cleanse from beard to toe with this spicy, smoky gel with fragrant fenugreek and conditioning carrot seed oil.
I love the Lush shower gel formula - I love that this is a big size and it's shimmery too so it's going to be so much fun to use too!
Lush Pirates of the Carrageenan Exclusive Kitchen Bath Bomb ~ Do you feel adrift? Weigh anchor and travel to calm waters. Soothing seaweed soothes, while woody sandalwood and patchouli help you refocus.
I will be honest, this is super sparkly, even for me - but, it's a pretty bath bomb and I think it will be a lot of fun to use!
This box was so much fun - I loved the pirate theme! I paid just over $50 for this box, and this isn't about the value to me, this is mainly about getting exclusive and retro Lush products! If you are a Lushie, you will likely love this box for the nostalgia and exclusive scents!
