The Lush Kitchen Subscription box is a monthly subscription box full of exclusive Lush Kitchen goodies made exclusively for the box - every month subscribers vote on the monthly menu of products that they would or would not like to see in the box, so you can help pick what is included in the box! Also, all of the products included in each box will be vegan.
Each month the Lush Kitchen Subscription is $49.95 CAN box is per month + shipping (shipping to Alberta is $6.00 CAN and likely varies province to province). The subscription will come with 4-5 exclusive products and I think it will include a variety of products that Lush makes; but, will of course be mostly bath and body products.
I purchased this box
Each month you pay and vote for products that are coming in the following month's box - so for this December's box, you had until November 5 to vote on the products you'd like to see and then payment comes out on the 6th of the previous month. Then, Lush spends the month making the products and ships it out at the end of November so you receive it in December!
You do have the option to skip months, which is great - I only get it every few months! The box arrived filled with Lush's usual cornstarch peanuts, an ingredient card, and the a QR code to scan for product details. (If you are interested, this started in the UK and the boxes are all the same in all the countries!)
Here is a closer look at the products in this month's box:
Lush 29 High Street Enamel Pin ~ Keep this limited edition collectible close to your heart or gift it to someone special.
Okay this is a great themed box - the outside of the box looks like the inaugural Lush store at 29 High Street so I think it's a great theme for the Winter box. This is a cute little extra to add in to the box!
Lush 29 High Street Perfume ~ An uplifting citrus scent slowly mellows into warm tonka and soft florals. Inspired by the smell of the first-ever Lush shop in Poole, England.
This has been a previous fragrance scent, so this was a community pick for the box - this scent is sooo good! It smells just like a Lush store and is warm and sweet, but not candy-sweet just comforting sweet. I'm a big fan and I'm excited to use this!
Lush 29 High Street Candle ~ Light up your festivities with this sweet and uplifting candle you won't find anywhere else.
I think Lush has just started doing candles this you, so I love that this is an exclusive scent in a newer product. Again, this scent is great and I'm okay with the same scent being in the box a couple of times in different products (especially when it's based on the theme!)
Lush There's Room On The Nice List For Everyone Bath Bomb ~ Soak in playful popping candy and delicate rose oil, violet leaf, and sandalwood.
This is a cute little elf bath bomb with rosy cheeks and I love that there is popping candy and it will make it a fun one to use! Really cute - this one was an exclusive product for this box.
Lush Winter Night Bauble Bath Melt ~ Winter nights deserve warm, buttery-soft waters of comforting, creamy coconut with a wondrous white floral scent.
This is much bigger than I thought I was going to be, so this is going to last a long time! This just needs to be ran under the bath to add a smooth-oily finish to the bath and on the skin! I'm excited for this!
Lush Happy Holidays Shower Gel ~ Enjoy festive lathers that sparkle red and gold with cocoa absolute and almond oil with a sweet, cherry-chocolate scent.
A cherry chocolate scent sounds so good - I can't wait to use this. I always like the Lush shower gel formulas so I'm good with this. It's a little shimmery with red and gold in there. So pretty!
I'm sooo excited that I no longer have to pay around $100 per month to get it shipped from the UK! I paid just over $50 for this box, and this isn't about the value to me, this is mainly about getting exclusive and retro Lush products! If you are a Lushie, you will likely love this box for the nostalgia and exclusive scents!
