Monthly Beauty and Book Haul - July 2023

Last year I set a monthly beauty and books budget at $200 per month and I really stuck to it! I am trying to be thoughtful in my purchases, so this has been holding me accountable for being reasonable with my spending. Since it worked so well last year, I'm really trying to do the same thing this year! 

I do always love my Monthly Haul posts - it's a good way to keep track of everything that I picked up each month. I don't always blog about everything I pick up (I try to), but if you ever spot anything in here that you really want me to talk about, let me know!

ColourPop Haul ~ $115.39 CAN. ColourPop had an amazing sale going on this past month so I picked up a few things - I swatched the 4 shadow palettes and duochrome polish, you can see them all swatched here and I'm working my way through trying them all! But, what I was really excited about was the Colour Stix and I will have a review soon! 

Shoppers Haul ~ $23.01 CAN. I heard amazing things about both the L'Oreal Bod Repair line (and it's really great!) as well as the le color gloss that's a toning colour - I think I need to try this a little more, but this was a good hair haul. 

Jessica Nail Supply Polish Haul ~ $46.76 CAN. I couldn't wait to pick up the OPI x Barbie polishes - this website had the best prices, but there was shipping, but totally fine! I picked up Hi Barbie!, Welcome to Barbieland, and Every Night is Girls Night - I love them all, check out my last three manicure mondays to see these all swatched on me! 

Chapters Preorder ~ $25.79 CAN. I have been a fan of all Chloe Gong's books, so I was excited to read her first foray in adult fantasy. I love this Indigo Exclusive cover and I can't wait to read this! 

E-book Novella Order ~ $10.49 CAN. This is a novella in the Christmas Notch series - for some reason it's only in e-book, but I picked it up as it sounds fun and I will read all of Julie Murphy's books! 

This month I spent $221.44 CAN on beauty and books - this is just a tad over, but honestly I really like keeping myself accountable with this budget! I'm excited about everything I picked up last month!
