For 2019, I put myself on "stricter" $100 a month budget, not because I need to; it's actually to be more conscious about what I purchase. I also really want to make sure that I'm enjoying and using everything on my collection! But, over the past couple of months, I got a little less strict and went over budget! (I still think I'm being a little more thoughtful in my purchases while I go overboard!)
Everything in this post was purchased by me
CVS Shopping Haul ~ $190.13 CAN. On my trip to Disneyland, I had to make a stop at CVS and I went to town! Clearly, I didn't think that I spent this much, but I did convert this to CAN. There was so many masks that aren't available in Canada so I bought one of EVERYTHING!!!! There was new masks from Garnier, hydrogel Burt's Bees masks, Freeman body masks, and lots of Peach Slices masks! I can't wait to try all of these!
This is included in the CVS haul - I picked up the St. Ives face mist and I'm excited to try this! Plus, I picked up a few eyeshadows I haven't seen yet, plus makeup from The Creme Shop that I haven't seen either!
Walgreens Haul ~ $41.28 CAN. Another haul that I picked up on my Disneyland trip at another store that we don't have! I haven't seen these Covergirl glitter shadows in Canada yet, so I had to pick one up as well!
US Sephora Shopping ~ $117.42 CAN. Again, when I was in Disneyland I had to go to Sephora and pick up this Drunk Elephant Baby Facial - this is not available in Canada because the AHA level is too high, but I really wanted to try it! (Spoiler alert - I love it! And, I will try and review it soon!)
Haus Laboratories Glam Attack Shadow ~ $27.30 CAN. I was really excited to try Haus Laboratories Glam Attack Liquid Shimmer shadow - I picked up Rose B*tch and am excited to try this out!
ColourPop Midnight Masquerade Collection ~ $82.72 CAN. Yes, I did have to pick up the new Disney Designer Midnight Masquerade collection! I picked up the eyeshadow palette, the Aurora set with a highlighter and lipstick and the Belle blush. Plus, I picked up some nail wraps to try from ColourPop as well!
Sweet As Candy Bath Bomb ~ $6.30 CAN. This is the cutest bath bomb ever and I just shared my thoughts on my Halloween Bath Bomb post!
Soak Fizz and Bubbles Bath Bombs ~ $29.09 CAN. This was a new shop to me and I was so excited to order from them so I could see how amazing these Pennywise and Poisoned Apple bath bombs were and they looked amazing - they are also on the Halloween Bath Bomb post!
Glow Recipe Pineapple Serum ~ $48.00 CAN. How adorable is this serum?! This was in a recent Boxycharm, so people were selling them at a more affordable price, unfortunately, shipping was a little pricey! I've really liked the products from Glow Recipe, so this was huge for me to try!
Violet Voss palette ~ $15.00 CAN. This is another item that was in a Boxycharm, so I got this for a really great price! I haven't tried Violet Voss before, so I really wanted to try this palette out!
Sephora Order ~ $67.20 CAN. I was really excited to try both of these holiday releases - the little Charlotte Tilbury set is nice (but they are very small), and the Too Faced Hot Buttered Rum palette. I was very excited to get the mini Laniege lip sleeping mask because it's the best, plus I redeemed so points for this cute brush holder!
Lush Holiday Haul ~ $87.20 CAN. I thought I would pick up a few Christmas goodies along with my Halloween bath bomb I wanted to try! I'm so excited for all of these - Lush always has the best Halloween and Christmas goodies!
So, there is a reason I do these posts - I have to hold myself accountable and spent $711.64 this month! Big old whoops. I knew I would spend quite a bit while I was shopping in the States. I know I need to stop buying bath products and masks at this point - I'm well stocked up on all of these goodies now and in November and December I'm really planning on sticking to my budget!!!
