Some polishes were received in PR
I thought this would be a fun way to tie my nails in to my costume! If you can believe it, I've never been in to Pokemon - I didn't watch it growing up and my older son liked the cards and characters, but never really watched the show. And now my youngest son loves watching Pokemon on Netflix so I've seen a whole lot of it now!
It's been a long time since I've done some hand painted nail art - it's actually been since August! I've been stamping and stickering for weeks, and I was very excited to sit down and paint my nails this week!
The products that I used for this week's Mani:
-OPI nail lacquer in Candied Kingdom
-ORLY Instant Artist polish in Black
-Smackers Nail Polish in Wickedly Stylish
-nail dotting tools
This manicure was pretty straight-forward and easy to do! I started with base coat and 2 coats of the white base polish. Then, free-handing with the red polish, I painted half of the nail over the white (this doesn't need to be perfect because I painted over it!) Then, using the black nail art polish I painted a line across where the red and white polishes meet. With a large dotting tool, I painted a black dot in the middle of the nail, followed by a smaller dot of white polish. And, I finished with a nail art top coat!
Gotta Catch Em All - Pokemon! I'm so ready for Halloween this week - anyone else?! As always, make sure you check out the other #CBBxManiMonday group - Cosmetic Proof, Prairie Beauty Love, and Tea & Nail Polish to see their Halloween nails this week!
